Sweet job Mug~
Now THATS a proper spring compressor!!!
What was the total Man Hours involved,
For the DIYer. how would you rate this job on 1-5, 1 being oil change and 5 a timing belt?
any prob setting the height?
Tip: Based on visual of the corrossion on rotors- remove them and apply a light coat of
anti sieze or caliper grease to the edge where the rotor slips onto the axle hub
Those rust the rotors on firm!
And some black Barbque paint- good to 1200F (or caliper paint), will tame the rust on the center hub and rotor edge
Makes for the total Big Brake look!
Enjoy

I've only driven it around the block once (last night). It feels tight. Each crack in the road feels and sounds different, like it's quicker and faster (dudunk vs. duuuuuudunk). A lot less body roll and understear is apparent. Rolling wavy bumps (that I drive over everyday on the way home from work) have significantly less bounce. Stearing isn't as tight as I expected but this could be due to stock tires.
I'm probably the wrong person to rate this job because I've done it to almost every car I've owned (and many of my friend's). I've never done a timing belt on a V6, so it's hard for me to say. If you're worried about doing it yourself, get someone with experience to help you. Or, (like I did), print out one of the DYI threads on this site to "walk" you through it.

Nice garage....You should get the paint finish for it...thats what i did...makes cleaning up (especially liquids) easy....4.5hrs not bad for the clamp style spring compressor either....looks like an IR impact gun too...any who...nice drop....loved to see it slammed out some more too...

I started my job at 12noon and replaced all 4 suspension assembly's, rotated and balanced all 4 tires and performed an alignment and finished at 4:00p.m.

I was thinking of just slipping in a ratchet but i didnt want to damage anything so i decided to just pop the rear deck up its just held in by 8 clips then slides forward!

I did remove the back seat. However, I did scratch the plastic panel near the door jam while trying to remove the upper part of the seat by myself. I wanted to vomit. I recommend a helper to guide the seat through the seatbelts.
I didn't remove the rear deck. Here is a pic of the rear locked in place.
