Don't go to crazy if you don't like it, It's just photoshop. But I'm thinking about doing it. What do you think?
(not comments on the tow hook please)

Ive been trying to do this for the longest. I may just paint the bar black to give it that effect. Does anyone know if we can just remove it?

I think that top pic is just photoshop'd. I do believe PPLAW has done it if I recall correctly. IMO, it would look better if you can do that with a mesh grill in the back so it doesn't just look like a huge gaping hole.

Cool Carbon fiber?

I thought about this as well. I say your car will look different from the others. It just does not look rigth IMO, not my cup of tea.

Indeed, I thought about keeping the bar and put carbon fiber on the grey area of the grill. However, it is a lot of work. I think no one out there will do that custom job without charging a lot. So I have to do it myself. just don't have the time for it though.... I wonder if someone out there has done what I thought. Hope i didn't hi-jack the post from saying my thought.

Peace

Actually the original creater of the grill was ACCURATein, I was the second.

Here's a pic.......

If you have lots of experience with carbon fiber, then do it like I did using carbon fiber. I'm no expert but my results were ok, I need to learn how to do curves. If I don't sell my car I plan to remove the carbon fiber and have a paint shop paint it to match the gray on the Aspec lip...

Nay for me, especially on a WDP.

Looks okay with a grill on a darker color like NBP though.

Yes you guys, I photoshopped this pic of my car after reading this post https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139254
just to see what the grill would look like on a wdp TL since his car is black.
I think I'm going to do it, the dude that wrote this post above, His car looks so hot! to me.

Your car looks crazy nice it makes me want to dance like this As a matter of fact, can I give you a call to talk more about how to cut the grill? I read your post thru and thru but, how in the hell did you cut that metal bar. It seems like it'll tak 4EVER!

aznbenz: It's really easy to cut, a dremel works best but a hack saw will do the job...

Here's another shot...

Keep in mind the metal part your refering to, I think you mean where the 'A' rests, you remove that first. Then you have a plastic support 'beam' its completly made of plastic...

I requested that no one talk about my tow hook. It's off track I have another post about it. But if you must, I have it on there because I like how it looks.

I think it looks good on cars with smaller grill openings. On the TL theres such a big space thats just empty.

My thoughts? I think it doesn't look quite right on a WDP....just like datmrman said. On a darker car, it looks OK. I wouldn't say great, but OK/good-ish.

it probably will look good on WDP providing ur on a WDP / black scheme, this way there's the contrast and flow from front to back, IMO..
