Teaser: WDP, Cleared tails, ATLP Quads, Volk GT-S... what else could you want?
Finally got the clear tails installed. PITA to install these with the TL-S lip.
This is a teaser thread because it's getting dark as you can see in the pics. I didn't get time to finish the wash and wax and take high res shots, so the iphone will have to hold you over. I ran out of time installing these and the Innovative rear motor mount (what a day), my knucklers are angry right now. I haven't figured out how I'm gonna get the front mount installed... I really don't wanna pull the SC.
Anyway, WDP is KING with the clear tails, the pics don't do the look justice. In the sun it's brilliant. The gunmetal on whitle/silver matches the wheel theme too... It's just a nice clean flow front to rear now, I'm loving the results.

Tits! I approve. 
However I do think it might be better slightly tinted to get you more contrast.... like chilldog did his for WDP. The tinted version doesn't go well with NBP which is why i didn't do it, but with your WDP it would. Chilldog tinted his from the inside but since you already sealed your stuff up try one of those BlueBat Tint overlays to see how it looks... to experiment.. have him send you a sample.

Dude...what a unique look for a WDP !!! I've never seen cleared tails on a white TL. The tails go well with the wheels too.

LOL... with stretched 215's, cause it looks so good.
I thought about the tint, didn't go for it because I like how the white lens of the tials and the WDP go together... In the front I have the the same kind the going on where the headlights and grill are colormatched.
FYI, OEM TL-S tails for sale in the BM!

awesome, clean ride. the roof spoiler looks a little odd, i dunno if it's too small of just the pics though. now you just need some -5% limo tints on top of your limo tints and some 195/30/19 stretch tires :wink:

quick question...how did you seal yours up? Did you fill up all the lil slots by the end of the part where it sticks out when you open the trunk? I don't know how to describe it, but its like 4 or 5 lil small separated compartments. I realized I didn't fill up them compartments with the epoxy so now my tails are CONDENSATING real bad, bad that my spare tire, jack, and stuff are getting water and rusting.....not to mention it got into my rear seats and when I took my rear seats off to do rear shock install, I saw 2 inches of puddle just sitting there....

Yep, I discussed this in a different thread. I filled the little pockets with black rtv silicone on the backside, the covered the cutmarks on the front side with CF overlay for both water sealing and to cover the cutmarks.
I didn't use the epoxy, as it never holds up. I just used black silicone heavily as it seesm to stick better and last longer.
