Yeah I'm leaning towards a TL now instead of a TSX. On acura.com if you go to TL->interactive gallery->cabin and look at the 360 view, is that the taupe interior?

You will not be disappointed with the TL(-S). I replaced my totaled TSX with a TL. The TSX was a fun little car to drive but the TL gets more attention.

the type s with the taupe interior is even cooler...the seats and door leather has black stiching, and the door trim and shift consol have carbon fiber trim instead of the black wood stuff....

I have an '07 TL-S carbon bronze pearl(CBP)with the Taupe interior and LOVE IT!
You do have to work harder at keeping it clean. I wouldn't recommend it if you have small children. One person in an earlier thread said that jeans marred it.
Keep a good leather treatment on it for prevention.

Yea i also got a taupe interior! I love it. I wear selvage denim and it makes my seats blue! Thats why i copped zainos and makes it look brand new! I used to have black leather seats on my lexus and hated it! I smoke ciggs so I would also see white ashes on the seats. Taupe is soo much better and looks more luxurious. Its more a a grayish tan colour! I wish they made all season taupe floor mats!

I like this version of the Taupe. IMHO, much better color than the Parchment in the 2G.

I saw a couple days ago a TL-S with the Black/Silver seating. I gotta say, I did not like the Silver at all.

I do wear jeans all the time but I'm a clean freak so it shouldn't be a big problem. As for TSX, I like the way it looks but its underpowered. Plus I'm planning to keep my car for close to 10 years so I should do it right the first time (would have kept my CL another 5 years if I wasn't a dumbass).

after awhile - it loses its color and starts to fade little by little - kinda like, it turns yellowish - espcially when the leather gets all winkle - i pefer black but I AM HAPPY WITH TAUPE =)

Yea, i got toupe..love it, was gonna post pics but the ones that mytran posted is it!! looks great with the sunroof back under the lights ( like at a parkin lot or gas station ) very nice!! it was either that or the camel...im happy

Just base 5at with navi. TL-S is nicer but I don't need it. I'm leaning towards white but I'm considering blue too. I'm just thinking ahead and pearl white is a pretty tough color to match if you need any body work. My last car was just the plain tafetta white and I got hit three times and the body shop matched it perfectly (B-line bodyshop).

Got my prices and I'm meeting the salesman tomorrow so if everything works out, I'll be driving a brand new TL by Sat

what kind of prices are you getting quoted...i paid 32.9k before taxes and stuff on my type s... i would think you can get a tl with navi for atleast that or less...

Taupe interior is pure sex. Very luxorious. I opted for Black because of my 5 year old daughter

Man thats a great price! Currently, the base navi's are going for 32k if you don't take Acura's special financing. Lowest I've seen on the Edmunds forums is $31,448.

I have an NBP with Taupe and love that combo. But like others have stated it can be a pain to keep clean.
I plan on doing a nice cleaning and detail to the interior pretty soon.
