Night and Day
A lot of helpful tips provided. Easy things you can do with every shot: BE AWARE OF YOUR HORIZON LINE. Rule of thirds, as mentioned, and try to get the picture you want with the picture you take instead of cropping/zooming. Each time you crop and need to increase the size of the photo or just re save and re save again, you lose information and your pictures will degrade.
So working on the general composition of your photo so less has to be edited in post is a great way to practice in addition to all the exposure techniques you need to master. This is all camera control stuff that will make any editing (if neccessary) easier later.
Good luck and having such freedom in a digital world TAKE A SHIT TON OF PICTURES and don't delete anything right away. You might be deleting gold!
...Oh, and one personal thing. I do not judge your pictures, because we are all learning, but please do one of two things for me. Put your watermark in the corner and leave it alone or get rid of it alltogether. personally i would get rid of it but at least stop moving it around. it is doing nothing for you. at all.
no offense. keep it up and you will get better!

Agreed, the fake blur added takes away from the photos. And if you don't have a tripod for when you do night shoots, get one!!

Gorgeous shots, especially the industrial set
The ONLY thing I would change is removing the front plates before the pictures
