Love it man. It looks sick!

But it's going to look insane when you put the lip kit on (if you do). It'll look so much more aggressive IMO.

I guess I'll be the odd man out. I can't get past the fact that the rims are sticking out an inch further than the tire tread. It is a really weird look to me. Safety >>> Modding Fad.

how do you figure it's any less safe?

i just got back from a 650 mile trip to H2oi in maryland. i drive the car every day, and have about 20k miles on this setup.

you don't have to like it, but don't be ignorant.

OP, you may have just convinced me to go with an LM-style wheel. Nicely done.

IGNORANT??? Really?

I would say you are lucky so far. As far as the look, you can roll with anything you like. It is your car by the way. Please find me a tire manufacturer that recommends a fitment like that. Name ONE!!! You posted your car on this forum so expect positive and negative criticism. It is not a personal attack on you but I do question the safety of your setup. Stretching a tire to the point of not having a real sidewall is definitely UNSAFE!!!! I really hope you never have a tire failure on the freeway.

^ stretch tires have been popular more than most realize, look at the Dub Scene and Low rider scene. I've run a 245/35/19 tire on a 11" wide wheel for years, with zero problems on 40PSI minimum. to each his own, this topic has been covered over and over on these forums, remember Kennedy's old Topic?https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/what-stretching-tires-trend-718800/

nice troll post, I don't think that safety of stretched tires has been beat to death yet, but I think you just took it there. Make sure you post that in a couple other threads

maybe i'm lucky. maybe every single person who's ever stretched a tire without issue is lucky, or maybe your safety concern isn't valid. i appreciate the input, and i don't mind criticism.

i understand this isn't your preference, and you'd be worried about running a similar setup on your car. however, it's a non-issue on mine. i've got about 25-27k now without issue. haven't popped a bead, haven't eaten through a tire, etc. i've taken it half way down the east coast, out to ohio from ct, issue free.

i've still got the wheels/suspension on the car, trying to prolong putting the winter setup on as long as possible

but it's probably happening sometime next week. stock type s wheels with yoko snows, stock suspension/front upper arms. boo new england winters

i'd like to, but it does enough rubbing at that height lol

this is probably right on the edge of what im comfortable with as far as looks vs. comfort is concerned

car is in winter mode now. put the stock suspension, stock front control arms, stock type s wheels with snows on and got it aligned today. it's very odd to not have to avoid anything or try and hit bumps with the steering wheel straight lol
