A "smoked" update 56K = maybe - UPDATED AGAIN
You have already seen smoked taillights, but have you seen smoked headlights? Weather finally got better so I could put my smoked kits on. The headlights look good when off, but I MIGHT cut the part that covers the HID and the fog just so I don't lose any light whatsoever. It doesn't take away much, but it might be best... give me your opinions.

Hard to say how good it looks because of the lighting; I can say that I would never sacrifice seeing for being seen.

Wow, pimptastic is all I gotta say. I think if you cleared out your head light by taking out the amber-ish part it would complete the look, but I like it, looks stealthy!

Smoked is a real preference thing. They are not for everyone, but will change the light output that you are seeing with. I PM'ed you back so let us know.

Yup, I was thinking about putting blue film where I cut out the smoked film, but I think it looks great this way as is.

According to Rockblocker, I believe its 20%, which is opposite of how tint is rated, I guess you would rate this (in tint terms) as 80%? Check with Rockblocker to be sure.

will smoking the headlights affect the HID lights that much.. or is it a small difference? What if i smoked the headlights, and got 6000k HID bulbs which should be brighter so i wont really loose much light since i got a brighter bulb rite?

First-6000k are not brighter than OEM 4300k.
Second-Light output will obviously diminish if you put a tint layer on it. Probably not to the extent where you cant see anything at all.
Third-Why would you bump a 3 year old thread for a question like that. Just search, many threads discuss this.

can u post some more pics please. If i took my car to the tint shop and asked for smoked headlights i could just tell them to cut out a shape just for the turn signals and leave all of the HID lights open? is that what you did?
