small update...

Finally I got the out dated navi working again, I feel so weird with the 04-06 Navi since the graphic resolution is slightly less than the 07-08. The proccess speed also slower than my 07-08 TL, some how I end up with all TL has navi. Took the car today for work so I can test out the navi function and in traffic I have to say its not that bad.

No need to worry about the dash being expose to the sun, this is my daily spot park at work.

Its feel so nice to have the clock with correct time back along with all the original function back.

I just had to test out the Navi and compare it with the 07-08.

Well the final verdict is everything working greats except for the outdated 2007 DVD. BTW more update is coming on the way.
Where did you find out which wires to change around? I have a 2005 TL w/ Nav and I'd like to see if I could install an 07-08 unit bc the visuals look so much better

Just want to update lately as this TL really show how "CHEAP" the previous owner really was and buying a not very well maintain 15 years old car is not mean for everyone. I got most of mechanic knowledge back in the teenager day (No money, well still is until this day). The car looks and drive way different when I first brought it home, I had a stack of pictures that not in order so enjoy.

I barely drive my Type Slow, you can guess why right?

Some light on the replacement steering wheel is out so I have to yank the steering wheel off again.

not too bad for a 15 years old car.

The old radiator cap rubber piece is somewhere in the coolant system lmao, please don't over look radiator cap. They are cheap to replace

Upper control arms replacements and new rotor, pads. Upon inspecting the tires the car need all 4 new tires.

Caliper bolt come off easy and there are no stripping thread so I am stoked even tho I have 4 Centric rebuilt Brembo caliper as spare parts.

its all looking shinny after I spend 15 mins each cleaning each caliper, before its was caked in brake dust.

wash and detail the engine bay, inspect for any leak. its safe to say no more leak at this point.

yes I know that SRI gotta go, I am awaiting on the long bolt that hold the lower portion of OEM air box tot the strut tower.

its probably get clean for the 1st time since new.

All engine cover is back on.

more maint part arrived, the other positive terminal is for my 07-08 TL as spare part.

those hazy headlight bugged me so...

After wet sanded.

I cleaned the fuel door as it was caked with dirt and looks like sticky black stuff like tart. The previous owner had a bad gas cap so instead buying new OEM gas cap he decided to use his girlfriend old Civic gas cap. I then order a new gas cap and replace that POS.

Not perfect but yet its getting better.

So pleasantly envious of @truonghthe s great Acura collection. The people saying he has too much car can’t handle it.
