That slow but steady 06 WDP build

My dad bought the car brand new back in 2006 and was really a weekend driven, garage stored car most of its life. Fast forward 10 years, got my license and my dad passed the car over to me in basically mint condition. ~30k miles when I got it. Drove it my senior year of high school and didn't really care much about changing it until I came across this site in the summer after I graduated. Asked my dad back then if I could do some things, he said no (the stock car is perfect the way it is in his eyes) and I didn't really have money anyways. So I didn't really have the urge until I constantly came back to acurazine to look at the photo gallery and after awhile I just wanted it. Worked the past year and a half to get money, constantly tried to convince my dad, and here we are today. Showed him I have the money to pay for everything, and eventually he let me buy things. So far got the full aspec kit with the Type-S rear, Tsudo catback quad exhaust, footwell RGB lights, and LED replacements for all the lights inside and outside. At this moment i'm at 48k miles and hope to drive this car to the ground as i've really fallen in love with it haha. Took about 3 days but installed everything myself with the help of my dad and cousin.

Future plans: (everything I do to the car has to be approved by my dad, which I can't get mad at since he handed it over to me)
BC Racing Coils (I hope, my dad is really against lowering cars with the roads in my area LOL)
New Wheels (looking at a few different ones, i'm indecisive)
Black wrapped roof
Window Visors
Black Roof Spoiler
AEM V2 CAI
Cleared/Custom Headlights

Thats about it for the plans for now, just have to make more money and convince my dad LMAO

Heres some pics:

That's a great looking car, auto or manual? And how do you like the exhaust?

Thanks and auto. Surprisingly i'm loving the exhaust. I heard mixed reviews on the tsudo but went with it because I love the look of the tips way better than the ATLP quad tips, and the sound is awesome to me. Glad I went with it over others, and the sound is waaaaay better in person

Yes! BC Racing coilovers and wheels coming in the spring! I would get them now, but living in the east, snow and salt is a no no haha. Looking to lower a inch or more but not too much as this car is my daily driver. jpipe and CAI being installed soon tho..

Finished the low, still want more low lol. Drivers door got dented at the shop but they took care of it all free of charge, looks like nothing happened so i'm happy. Friend had a extra splitter laying around, so I said why not just bolt it up. Luckily the retrofit worked, splitter is off a civic. Looked kinda off at first, but slept on it and it grew on me everyday, love that thing now lol. Fin is kind of small but ill extend it/make it bigger later. Wheels have arrived but waiting on tires. I wannt sideskirt splitters and diffuser too, probably gonna retrofit a diffuser like the splitter LOL

Not a fan of the splitter. I haven't seen one that I like. Looks like you slap what ever on and call it a day. Zero flow, but if you like it that's all that matters!

To each their own I guess. I do agree that aero is really hard to pull off on 3gTLs. As of right now, I like it because it's different, but when I get my new wheels I'm probably gonna take it off and see. I always change my mind back and forth between over the top aggressive and simple streamlined lmao. Thank you though!
