Thanks, here's the drls:

6 XTE-2 HB3 9005 H10 9145 LED FOG LIGHT BULBS - 9005 HB3 - Shop Bulb Number

Being able to adjust them really does make it light up the housing better. They have fewer leds than the ones I had before but are still brighter and the pattern is more focused so it's not hitting people in the face.

I'm debating about "un-deleting" the front parking lights, for something different:

Here's the parts I'm selling just in case anyone is interested:

I am assuming these are plug and play? I don't want to run resistors.

Any LED DRL will need a resistor kit. it's the nature of putting LEDs in a system that isn't built for that.

I actually bought a harness off ebay specifically for the DRL's, which means no resistors necessary. The only downside is that I get the DRL error on my dash, but that doesn't really bother me. I don't like resistors either.

This happened yesterday:

Was driving down the road and the car in front of me ran over a basketball sized piece of metal and launched it at the grill of my car. Then it bounced it's way up the hood and off the windshield. Windshield has a 2 foot spider web on it now. Bringing it to the body shop on Monday.

Yes it does. The good news is that I'm dropping it off at the body shop today and I'll end up with a new front lip, hood, grill and windshield. So it should look better than it has in years! I wish people would be more careful when securing junk they are carrying. I think if whatever hit my car had hit a person it could have killed them.

Happy to say that I picked up the car this past weekend and it looks great. Hood has been repainted, new grill, and new A-spec lip. Also decided to un-delete parking lights.

I'll try to post some dslr shots soon before it gets any new rock chips.

Thanks pal. Carbon fiber does look nice with black. I recently switched the grill back to chrome after having it wrapped in gloss black vinyl and then plasti-dipped. I'm really liking the contrast of the chrome. It's kinda weird, after having the grill black for so long, chrome seems like a mod now.

Much appreciated man. It's a challenge keeping an old car looking good. Still got a few repairs left on the list. Hopefully you're enjoying your new ride.

@SDK I really want my DRL's to stay on with my headlights as well, your setup looks gooood. So I just got my VLEDs and iJDMtoy harness today. I don't want a switch in the cab, I just want the DRL's to stay on. Is this possible?

Edit: More specifically, I want the DRL's to come on when they normally do, but also stay on when the headlights come on.

I bought a relay harness off ebay that connects directly to the battery and the led bulbs. So the OEM connection isn't used. Whenever the engine is cranked, the DRLs are on. I just pulled the fuse on the stock DRLs, but I get the "DRL" light on the dash. There's a link to specifically how I did this in the first post of this thread.

Question, I'm considering jumping on the Advan RSII bandwagon and wondering if anyone knows whether 18x8.5 +40 or +51 will clear the Brembos? Thanks.

I am going to say that they probably do because that's basically aspec sizing.
And they are a spoke, not a lip...so good clearance.
I recall being about to put my 17x9 +45 from my S2000 on the TL.

Thanks for the info. I was really wanting to go 18x9 but they don't offer the offset that I'm looking for, so 18x8.5 it is.

18x9 +29 was what I was rocking, but you have to go pretty narrow on the tires...225 or 235 depending on brand if you don't want to run much camber.

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid having to stretch the tires or adjust camber. Wish they had 18x9 +40 or 50. I'll probably go with 8.5.

Well I ONLY had to do a little stretch to accommodate the almost zero camber I liked running.

You've been a ton of help. One more question for you, my current CR Kai's are 8.5 +35. Can I assume that the RSII's at +40 would move in 5mm, or is that not necessarily true from one wheel to the other? Maybe a better question is, would +40 be the same on any 8.5" wheel?

Yes...it should be...
only factor that could mess you up that I don't understand fully is when you get dishes and lips and steps and they do +disc etc for brake caliper clearance.
but on a spoked wheel...yeah, should be universal.
