I'm selling the old bumper for $50 obo. I'm unwilling to ship so local pickup only.

I have a few things on my to-do list for the future: front grille change, repaint rear bumper and brembos, and do something about cracked driver side fog light.

It's an absolute blast! I don't miss the TL at all...well maybe just the sound of the ATLP

It's hard to exactly describe the S2k or fairly compare it to the TL, but I posted this in the S2k thread last month, and it's a pretty good summary:

"As for transitioning between the two, you lose a lot, but gain a lot at the same time. No heated seats, stiffer suspension, more road noise, less MPG, minimal storage space, horrible speakers...the S2k is built around the connection between the driver and the road. Some creature comforts are there but I wouldn't call it lavishly equipped. But for all of the things you lose, you gain a connection with the car that's hard to describe. Instant throttle response, quick and precise steering, the feeling with the top down, manually changing gears, the insane VTEC crossover, the occasional thumbs up from people on the road or from other S2k owners...it's an awesome feeling that the TL never gave me. Minus an Alpine bluetooth headunit, my S2000 is completely stock, and I'm fine with it. Of course I would like some aesthetic changes but I don't think about them when I'm behind the wheel.

I've tried my best to put how I feel about the car into words, but it's hard to do. Drive one for more than just a few minutes and you'll understand. Another Acurazine member is visiting for New Years and he has a built FRS and a new GTI. Yesterday for about an hour or two, I drove his car and he drove mine. He pulled my car back into the garage and all he said was "I want one". I drive 72 miles round-trip to work and the S2k makes it fun and enjoyable. It's not a supercar, it's not the fastest thing on the road, it's not practical, but it's absolutely intoxicating in every way imaginable."

had the brembos powder coated and rebuilt. reinstalled calipers and put some new brake pads on too. bled the brakes. it's braking really well after bedding in.

my wife took some awesome pics for me.

Wow looks great man, killer photos by your wife.

How much did the powder coat run you for the brembos?

thank you sir. $250 for two-stage powder coat and rebuild. plus shipping the brakes to the shop. had it done by these guys:

RSXRetrofits.com : High performance HID headlight solutions

they did a great job.

thanks! I don't have brembo calipers on the rear unfortunately.

I will probably paint the rears silver though since they have some rust on them.

probably because it gets updated like twice a year!

I like that last shot too. the trees look cool in the background. could make a nice avatar. I've had the same avatar for like 5 years, so I guess it's due for an update.

much appreciated. I was going for a color that contrasted nbp but wanted something subtle at the same time.
