is there an easy way to remove unpleasing pinstriping?

i think some dealers threw them on, but i believe the majority didn't come with them

I requested no pinstripe be put on mine. Ever see a Ferrari with a pinstripe?? If you have the painted on kind I'd go to a local dealership and find who does that type of work in your area. They will know best how to remove it. It might take some 1200 and buffing afterwards.

Well done, RJ.
Hey J, show us some of your "Fall" pictures. Some palm trees would be great right about now.

Did we just compare a Ferrari to a TL in this thread?

LOL...Thanks, man...
Good luck finding them. It was a local exhaust shop that sourced them, then refused to share from where...I even put people in touch with him WITH a markup, he wasn't interested in having to ship them out.
So...on the forums, I seem to be the only lucky dude to have gotten them. That is the base 04 opening though...the original tips on my exhaust (RV6) was the base quads, part of only 9 that were made for the base opening...but I got ridiculed constantly for having tiny tips and I have to agree, they didn't look that good.
