2. ABOUT HITTIN MY EBRAKE AND TRYING TO HIT IT WITH REAR....... lol idk bout that pal cuz again at 65mph i deff aint tryin to hit no ebrakes and yes i would go sideways but prolly into another car and i was deff tryin to makesure not to hurt ne one else...

3 it was on I-664 north in suffolk where theres shit load of deers lol i just know to be careful now...

4. im pretty sure im goin EURO... ne one can say wat they want haha... but ballinfizzle knows im good for it haha...

5. i will deff try to put wat ever i can swap out with stock up for sale... like TEIN SS COILOVERS, TYPE-S RIMS.... I HAVE SOME EXTRASET WHICH WERENT INVOLVED IN THE WRECK TLS BLACKEDOUT TAILS (not the cheap tint stuff... clear blk painted professionally looks verry good )

1. if you've ever seen pics, or have hit a deer, you'd know swerving is usually the better choice (depending on time and location, i guess). I would've done the same exact thing.

2. i doubt most people would think about this in time to react. And OP is pretty on point about keeping other out of harms way.

3. that's how i feel about MOST of NJ's highways. There are deer everywhere

4. any hints on the euro? BMW? Audi?

I tried to miss a deer with my QX4, well I missed it but in the process jumped the median and jumped over a 5 foot high fence and dropped the SUV fracturing my ankle, giving me a concussion and put in the ER for 2 days....

In terms of hitting animals, hit the damn thing so it goes through insurance as a comprehensive claim and not a collision claim which happened to me.

i guess the best news is that allstate my insurance put this under a comprehensive claim... because there was no ticket written on the scene or anything....
and id say original speed was prolly in 70s

Of course, you never know what you are going to do until you do it, but as much as I love my grille...I gotta run his ass over and go with that! Swerving just leaves too much to chance of "not making it" once the car is out of control. I know you did what came natural for you, but I'm sorry, the ditch and trees?...NOPE! It's on, me and the deer fa real! I rather take a shower than a broken bone anyday! That's just me...venison anyone?

Damn man i'm glad to see you made it outta this one. I almost lost my dinner when I saw your car hanging from the tow truck... I must say though stage 3 looks great! Those pics of the trailblazer vs. Deer are raw as hell. I have an Envoy so I guess it's good settling to know it can kick a deers ass.. although my daughter would have been covered in blood as she sits behind me when i'm driving lol

This is why they are now stepping up in certain states and inforcing deer control. In the South, more houses are going up and the deer have nowhere to go. So they end up in the street. Sorry about the car. Good luck with whatever you get to replace it.

I'm glad to read that you're ok after all this. I also see people can't just stay on topic and have to be the alpha males.....

A couple years ago I hit a deer doing 60mph in my Pilot. I was cresting a hill and saw the head out of the corner of my eye and luckily it went completely under the car.

It was a small deer, probably in the 150lb range but I swear I went airborne. Scared the shit out of all of us. Got out easy with only a tweaked quarter and cracked bumper/under spoiler.

Good luck with all the insurance hassles and purchase of a new ride.
