Light update!!
So finally installed everything today and absolutely love the results. I kept everything stock at first when I got my new lights from JnC but man was I missing out. My setup now is Phillips 6000k DS2, VLEDs 5k DRLs, 5500k switchbacks, and 5500 LED fogs. I was worried about the fitment of the fogs but honestly they just rest up against my CAI similar to the OEM ones. The pictures don't do it justice and the color looks so much better in person. Enjoy!

yea man thanks a lot! Now I need to financially recover from that LOL.
I did all my lighting last summer and I can say that it was very rewarding afterwards, it really makes a diff in appearance for sure.

The next day over freezing, clean her off!

Oh I will! We're supposed to get more snow on Monday so may have to wait till next week
It had a little more drone then expected so I went with a bigger resonator and had it welded in. The endless came with the 12866 which was 5" and the 12640 I have is 6" in diameter and longer. I go from Philly to Pitt quite often so the drone was getting to me on long drives.

if you do drop, just be wary of your resonator!

oh ok i just didn't know what endless came with. you went to a pretty beefy resonator. i switched the very small xlr8 muffler out when i went to HFPCs (much more drone with them) and put in a 4" round by 22" long magnaflow and it took away all drone, but i think the purge resonance technology in the xlr8 mufflers took away most of the drone from the start.

Yeah how was the drone on the xlr8 before you went to HFPCs? Oh yeah it's a huge resonator haha. I do plan on dropping it in the spring but just mild so hopefully I'll be ok.

Great work bro - can you pm me the info the CF pieces like pricing etc - and also, does he have a ready supply to swap out - or do you have send him the pieces to get worked on? Your car is coming along nicely, the blacked out front end looks killer!

i added in the resonator and it made a huge difference, no drone at all now cruising and still roars when flooring it. in the future i might go to a slightly short resonator to get some idle sound back but not sure.

oops sorry i forgot to get back to you. the drone was pretty minimal with the xlr8 by itself (they have "purge resonance technology" in the mufflers), but once i added the hfpcs the drone increased and was a little too much for my daily driver.

I havent been in the 3G section in forever (stupid Car Talk). Your car looks awesome keep up the good work.
You live in the North East so you can probably answer this best. How's the Intake/Dryflow been holding up with the weather? Any scares or complaints? Do you avoid puddles at all costs?
Also if you don't mind can you send me a pm on the carbon fiber pieces. Your buddy does an amazing job

Thanks man and yep I'll pm you info
So far so good with the intake. I've driven in several heavy rain storms and it floods around here quite often. Obviously I avoid large puddles the best I can but the cover gives me a little piece of mind.

How often do you clean/or replace the filter?

I've heard good things about Akata spacers, which come with a black coating so they look and from what I understand are manufactured by the people who make Vossen wheels. They're also about 70-80 bucks a set new which isnt bad.
There's also Ichiba spacers, but theyre essentially the same thing for double the price. I'd go with Akatas (had them on my last car). They're great

also, there's a cowl right inside the fog light grill that pushes air up. next time your bumper is off or if you clean your filter from the wheel well, take a razor blade and cut off that plastic. that way more air gets to your filter right away.
i ran akata spacers for about a week but they made me uncomfortable (on my waffles). the nuts suck from akata, i'd recommend you upgrade the nuts if you go with them. my ultimate suggestion but definitely not cheap, is get some sweet aftermarket wheels that fit just right. you can find some great sets for under 1300 and most around 1k.

i clean mine about every 15k and it still gets pretty dusty but the cover helps a lot. i just did mine this past weekend and you just need to take off the left wheel and pull back the wheel well cover. you can reach inside and take it off easily (hopefully you installed it so the hose clamp can be loosened from that angle).
