Ryanfett's '08 NBP TL-S Progress Thread
#401
It's hard for me to compare the SA's to other coilovers because I really don't have much experience with others. I think they feel very close to the type S suspension. They were a bit bouncy at first but then I stiffened up the dampening (not full stiff) and couldn't be happier.
That's awesome Dave! Can't wait to see the final product when it's all installed.

if you look at the 5th photo down , your door and fender look a little orange peely. Now I asked because my car has been repainted and I have a tiny bit of that peel in the same area which is why I was wondering if yours is factory.

When I took my car in for its first paint correction, I was surprised at how many spots the detailer pointed out that had been painted, I was only aware of the back panel being painted but he pointed out a couple more spots. What most people don't realize is dealers will get the car painted after "parking lot" damage and not disclose this info! It happens, but not often

yeah - some of my factory paint, and some other panels that were repainted poorly have that orange peel - the pieces I got repainted from the wrap damage look sooo much better - damn orange peel

What's up guys? It's been a while since I've been on as the fiancée and I just bought a house two weeks ago. More importantly, the TL now has her own home
I also decided to get a new license plate that blends in a lot better and looks much cleaner. I've always wanted the black dare plate but never could since they discontinued the black color.

Congratulations on the house!

I was able to break in the new garage today with a little maintenance. I have been experiencing the typical power steering whine for a little while now so I finally decided to fix it with the new o-ring. While I was at it, I also changed out the power steering fluid. Everything went smoothly and haven't heard the noise yet after some test drives.

Damn Ryan! Things look good bro. Nice Garage set up, dig the Acura/Honda Wing flags up in there - and do I spy an RPF1 - hmm? are those making their way onto the car anytime soon? Anyways congrats on the house buddy.

It's been a little while since I updated my thread so I figured I'd give an update. I've been super busy with the house (mainly the garage) and also the TL got a new friend
Nothing major done lately to the TL except I threw the summers back on and have just been enjoying the car. Anyway, enjoy some pics of a quick wash/quick detail and new toy
