alot of wdp have that problem, especially with the oem underbody kits. i looked at 3 different wdp sets at my dealership to make sure the one i got matched my car pefectly. I still had some issues and had my body shop blend them even better. tzakiel has a little bit of mismatch in these pictures, but that could just be shading or even the pictures..

my bumpers are a shade darker than my body or kit. it's the bumpers... most WDP have a shade off bumper colors.

I think tzakiel and Lokius are starting some sort of East Coast/ West Coast WDP thing...(MD and CA - we need an east/west coast smiley!!!) Two beautiful 3G WDP bookends for the country!..

They're both well executed and you both obviously have a lot to be proud of for the work you've put into your respective rides.

Those are some nice mods you got there. I personally do not like the rim selection but everything else seems wonderful! I am a fan of the spoiler and smoked tail lights. All i can say is nice job and gl with all of your other mods

Thanks for compliments I think I'm done for a while unless something totally revolutionary for TL comes out. I'd love to see some aftermarket rear spoilers come out. I might repaint my calipers again too... dunno.

I'd really like to do the smoke and clear thing. The problem is I haven't heard of anyone in the area that would be good for the job, and I am not up for taking out my own headlights and mailing them. If anyone has heard of somebody good in MD dc baltimore area let me know. I should also ask at the next meet here.

the eibach pro drop is in the range of what can be aligned without a camber kit. that being said, i have been too lazy to get one yet, really gotta do that before i screw up my new tires.

What do you guys think... make acura repaint the bumpers? I might as well do it sooner rather than later... just dread the haggling with them and waiting... how long would the whole process take to repaint front and back bumpers, and reinstall the a-spec kit?

J, I think the longer you wait the harder it will be to have them repaint it. I say you get it done now while the car is still fairly new. I hate to say it but the difference in color between your rear bumper and the rest of the car is extremely noticeable. If the bumper is already a bit yellowish now, imagine in a few years. Get it done now

Someone mentioned it can bring the car value down by thousands of dollars if they detect the re-paint at trade in time... yick! I don't know, it just seems like a big risk.

Rockblocker adhesive film... arseny87. I ordered the kits and did it myself, but I use an exacto to cut the headlight turn signal shape (cut the rest off) It took some time to get it on right and get bubbles out. It also took a lot of trimming on the edges with a razor after it was dry.

Reminds me more of a Honda Accord now, like you are really trying to do too much. The front & rear kits look okay but the color of the kits appears off-white & does not match or blend well. Only from overhead shot does it all come together. But have a beer and enjoy, its your car.

I notice you spend more time dissing everyones vehicles , when in fact you have little to be so sure about. Most just dont post if something is not to our taste, you might want to respect others choices and if you have nothing constructive to say....keep your mouth shut

I am still thinking about a basic exhaust modification.. I dont want anything really dramatic. I saw what lokius did by keeping the stock look and adding magnaflows for exhaust... seemed like a good comprimise of sound and cost. I'll have to talk to some shops.

Way to represent RJSD guys, the wheels look sweet at that meet. any more pics of the two cars together? Any more pics of the Meet in general, that looks like a fun meet, some well known rides there from what i can see.

3 Things: 1. the wheels are awesome. If I had the cash for them, I would buy those same immature 18 inch silver wheels

2. Isnt everyones bumper a bit off in color? Seems like a problem with the TL. In most cases I think peoople wouldnt even notice the difference in color.

3. I like the film on the headlight idea. However, you cut the film when it was on the light? Id be a bit concerned about cutting the light and scratching it.

I think I may attempt the headlight idea when i get some cash and the weather gets better.

Yes, I did cut the film on the headlight and realized afterwards I had scratched the light. It's not too bad looking but it is scratched. Luckily it almost looks intentional, like an etch line rather than a mark. I only noticed this becuase I cut the film twice, I didn't like my first attempts so I cut it again back about a half inch, so I saw the first cuts' marks after I removed the sliver.
