Funny you say that, I think that because the old trunk spoiler was so bulky/tall...it really did affect, visually, how the rear of the car was perceived. I think it looks a lot lower now...

Thank you, btw...I've been working on getting better for a while now. Taking hints and cues from all my forum buddies...John/Sean were the first two to point me in the right direction. Austin and some others have only added to that.

Not a 1 of a kind but it really does what I wanted...which was accentuate the lines of the car, without looking like it added any bulk to it.
I know dude, same here... now you left me alone
You know I care about details..after seeing the pictures for millions of time, here is my comment.

Remember I used say the exhaust tips are awesome, nice and clean but just doesn't match to the car + wing
(Side of our wing spoiler matches with the stock exhaust tip)

Now I take it back.
Giving that oval look to the trunk with CSL now made the rear-end suitable with those exhaust tips.

+

You don't have to worry about keep taking it off and putting on the other one blah blah

Overall...pure awesomeness

I should get the CSL and Porsche exhaust tips that I always wanted

Not now but I will one day, first I have to catch you with the stance
Rims, height and such

Meko...that's really kind of you to say, my friend. Thank you. Know something funny? We think very alike...I noticed that I loved the exhaust tips a lot more when the spoiler was off...

I'll wait fir you, brother. Let's build this thing!

But I would take the shoes off the front spoiler-I've got to think they cut down the aerodynamics of the TL.

Digging the rear spoiler....now I really feel you should get the roof spoiler...will make it look 1000x better....

on the interior side, I am still 50-50 on the painted trim pieces....maybe they will grow on me...

I painted the fog bezels with NBP and the damn snow/ice heavily chipped my fog bezel but I bet your paint will hold up better and longer

The first rule of Fight Club isss.. I mean rule of TL rockstar143 isss
Body has to flowwwww flow flow

Wouldn't straight plain roof spoiler ruin the "roof flow" that goes smoothly to the oval shape lip spoiler?

If they grow on you, see a doctor!
yeah, not for everyone, but honestly, I'm in love with it. Looks slightly custom but not really. Looks like it belongs. Maybe a different color would be your speed?
About the fog bezels...I have no illusions about it lasting. I have highway drives to/from work so it'll see some chips, I'm sure. He did use some additive used for trucks/airplanes so hopefully that'll help!

Yeah buddy...I just wanted to destroy something beautiful.
I agree, in theory...but I do admit that I've been considering it. I'm torn between a very small one that curves upward and matches the rear window and one that's more like the atlp v1 spoiler that has more of a flat appearance...I think it might add an element of interest to the car since it'll add a solid flat line to compliment some of the curvature.

Bah, Beethoven's 9th sympony ovahhh heahh...wtf am I even talking about.

no sir...if it grows on me, imma start doing porn

Dont get me wrong, I like the speedometer bezels painted....just the alum center trim added some nice contrast....and am not sure if any other color will look nice....

Damn I need to get my fogs to Wacker....he did a great job on yours....I hate it that the full bezel is nice and painted and there is 1 little chip showing the sanded down bezel off

Just use touch up paint!

Adam, PM me and I'll tell you. I'll feel majorly stupid for divulging openly how much it ended up costing me to swap spoilers for good.

I like the trim sides in aluminum too, Anil...but mine were fkn banged up...so I had sanded down for a bit, but it looked unfinished...then I wrapped in black vinyl and the look really grew on me. I kept the other silver pieces for contrast but the normal black plastic and the NBP gloss really do compliment each other.

Well, the oem fog is lit up with a DRL module...and then an LED module is connected to that to give it that 6K appearance. Our high beams are the same bulb as our lows.
Thanks!

You know what, MEKO, I have definitely considered it, man. I project car is what you're getting at? Like an affordable cool car to put my efforts into and give my poor TL a break? I have often thought about it...would like a roadster with RWD that I can make really fast and fun to drive. That said, the practical side in me knows that I only have a 1 car garage, nowhere to store/keep a 2nd car and right now, I'm in the midst of a short sale on my house etc and the timing for spending some big chunks of change would be all wrong. BUT, down the line, that will be the case. I can't see my TL being worth selling to anyone due to the amount of love/work that has gone into it. That said, it'll likely be my practical daily daddy car when the times comes.

Well, the DRL module isn't available anymore, unfortunately. BUT, there is some thread somewhere to turn your fog in the headlight to be independent, then it would be as simple as slapping an LED bulb in. The LED module I have that works with DRL is the Unique Style Racing one.

Jeez...thank you! Honestly, I think there just weren't enough marketing and pictures of it available...when I was looking, there were a few, but not too many were high res or depicted how it truly looked from all angles.

As long as there's lube, errr, I mean shortening, I mean, butter. We're good!

Gracias, Amigo! Nice compliment from a guy that knows class!
Honestly, I was really on the fence about the spoiler...once I finally saw the CSL I realized that if I went this route, I'd NEVER go back. I love it...

Okay, so last night, I was in the middle of making dinner...had to take something out to the trash and when I did I saw how beautiful the sky was and figured the lighting would lend itself to some nice shots. Bless Betty for putting up with my sometimes manic behavior...
went to the local elementary for my usual favorite spot.

I get there and realize that not only did I take off without wallet and phone...I also forgot to put on shoes. Oh well...9 minute barefoot shoots ftw!

Hope you guys enjoy seeing em as much as I enjoy taking em!
