Thanks Johnny...awfully kind of you...
I'll try and get a ballast one way or another before I fux with it. Just come and relax, man.
Sockr...I think we've gotten a little jaded by how big all the SUV's are...women are bred to think they must be in this monstrosity to be comfortable. I think it's hilarious...as a kid that had a mother with a civic si hatch...and then an integra...I think it's all in our heads. I mean, would it be easier to put stroller and groceries into the back of a suburban? No, it really wouldn't. Could I fit MORE, yes...I could...but how much more do I need. The downgrade to 1 10" subwoofer gave me ample room and even then, the stroller fit in the back without issue with the 2 12's.
What we "need" and what we NEED are 2 different things...I fell for that shit once before when I thought I needed a truck and ended up hating it. Turns out a little EP3 hatch was the business for me...same with the RSX...brought a sheet of plywood and 10 - 2x4x10' home one night to build a bed. It worked, it made it home...it was fine.
As far as comfort...first 2 years, you'll have rear facing seat which DOES eat up a lot of room and you have to have passenger seat up pretty far. It's tight, but if she REALLY doesn't feel like squishing, she can sit behind me.
Again...what "need"? She has the SRX if we need it and if we want supreme comfort I'd cram all a dem hos into the S2000 anyway.

haha sorry i meant in terms of ride quality, motor mount vibration, and exhaust sound haha. i think the space is perfect size wise for a family like you said, but my wife is more worried about my driving in my "sporty" (a TL being sporty haha) car. sometimes it makes me wonder if i should go back to stock but then i would have no fun when driving alone...
she gets the next car since right now she has a 2 door civic and that won't work with a baby. every pic i see your kid looks peaceful maybe the motor mounts and exhaust do put them to sleep like i keep telling me wife haha

I shit you not, they do.
If my dog ate a rope..then I'd have spelled it "I shit you knot". I crack myself up.
What I'm realizing when I take wifey out in the S...is give positive reinforcement. When she's with you, drive chill, put the AC on, don't crank the bass...don't accelerate fast to impress her. That doesn't work on a wife, only on stank hos that swallow on the first date and pretend like they'll do it forever (lies). In time, she'll believe your car is comfortable. You have to understand that unless you do that...she'll always think that your car is unfit for a baby and she'll push that motherfucking camry on you.
Then you'll wonder why you had a kid, and eventually why you married her because you're crying inside. There's a balance...give a little, take a little...but don't give up what makes you tick. Otherwise the whole thing self destructs.
Alright, that's my take anyway...I'll get up off my tiny soap box.

and yes, that's part of the reason why I'm riding 3/4" higher than I was in the black car and I'm rockin 235's instead of 225...when I hit bumps before, it was pretty brutal and I didn't want to hurt her little tiny undeveloped neck...same with the bass...no cranking the 2 Live Crew past like 50%...
enough to get the point across, but not pop her ear drums.
Hoping that SOME exposure to cool car shit and music will rub off on her.

Johnny, I have the same problem, my friend...maybe we'll cancel each other out and just lay back and chill.
Gonna be fun.

I was like, man, I need a truck. But, my dad has one and only lives 10 minutes away. We have an SUV that we bought almost a year ago as the kids hauler, best idea ever, can fit all my Costco groceries in the back. Then we have the Accord that we take usually when we are driving around town etc. we took the accord last night to Costco and man I barely fit anything in my trunk. 3 cases of water, cheese, my 10" box and a flat of strawberries.. My wife had to hold the paper towels.
You should see the driver.

Thanks ATLS!
Riyian, I did it because I remembered how smooth the black TL felt when I got done with it on that one. So I wanted to do this car too...also wanted to do plugs and valve cover gaskets so there was no better time.
In hindsight I kinda figure I could have done the covers with paint or something but I didn't have much down time and I also would rather have the oem pitted look than chipped paint.
