I did them earlier today, I thought they would change the color of the light emitted a little more, but in the daytime the blue lens looks really nice. Kinda like the blue tint on benz windows.

Not that big eye bolt coming thru the right side of the front bumper cover. Mine certainly didn't come with one, and if it did, I wouldn't have bought the car.

lol... if you remove the small circular cap on the front bumper, you can attach the tow hook which should be located near your spare tire.

The hook is in the bag with the jack for your car. The hook is used in case your car needs to be towed.

Talking

Ha Ha Ha, my girl Hates the tow hook also! It's so funny, I love it. It's supposed to give it a more race inspired look. kinda like this one.

And yes, it comes with every TL you just have to pry out the cap with a flat head screwdriver. I fucking love the look, dude you have to have vision. I know how my car is going to look and the tow hook will fit in perfect with my rims and bodykit and cf hood that are coming in the near future. lol
And you have to understand, I see at least 5 WDP TL's just like mine everyday. And it's always some 60 year old white guy driving, I want my WDP TL to stand out even before my mod's are all complete. You know, and I think my tow hook works at doing that just a little.

Oh yea, and no the lenses don't really change the color of the light. You have to get your hid's color modded for that, and I was going to clear out the lenses but my honda guy said it was too risky, just incase I ever needed to have something factory done to them the dealer would'nt do it if the yellow lenses were out. So I may buy a second set and have the lens taken out of that set.

WOW- my BAD! :surrender I remember seeing that piece when I got my jack out to try and raise the left front tire. Could not figure what the hell it was for.

My apologies for a noob moment!

I like the red ones you see on the import drag cars.

And my wife would just if I put that on my car. But thankfully the RJ kit has no access hole for it.

It's a mugen experienced driver badge. It's a reflector like a lisence plate and it stays orange and yellow.

If I walked past a TL with that hook I would be tempted to take if off myself and spare the owner anymore embarrassment. Sorry, but that is total

that badge has nothing to do w/ mugen. that is a JDM Koleshiya (Elder Driver Badge). those badges are used in japan for elder drivers above the age of 60 i think. they are required by law to have it on their car. wannabe jdm enthusiasts thought it would be cool and totally "jdm tyte!" to put those and the JDM Soshinoya badges (new driver badges) on their jdm style cars. looks weak as hell if you ask me. new driver badges are also required by law in japan for new drivers w/ less than 1 year experience driving.

SweetJazz: If the tow hook is on there tight enough to pull the car, how do you think you can just stumble upon a tl with one and take it off? (You cant, unless you walk around with a wrench or screwdriver with you all the time) And that would be weird.

Simonsez: It does'nt stick out far enough to protect from damage, and it's on the side.

1. Mugen
Japanesse aftermarket manufacturer who specializes in Hondas. Also races modified NSXs in the Japaneese Grand Touring Car series.

2.
Japanese Domestic Market (JDM)
Usually used for cars or car parts that have been imported from Japan.
Check out the JDM SR20DET engine I got for my 240sx!

I.E. Both are basically the same when you talk about automotive products based from Japan. Mugen is just more of a brand so I don't feel that I was incorrect in calling the badges mugen. It was just a quick way to answer dudes question.

AND THEIR NOT FOR DRIVERS ABOVE 60 , This particular badge is meant to symbolize the higher level of experience the driver posseses. Think of it as elder driver, not elderly. That's why when people see it they automatically know I race and try to race me, They don't think I'm over 60. And you said, "I think it looks weak as hell if you ask me" but just remember... No one asked you.

P.s. what's the difference between a wanna be jdm enthusiest and an actual jdm enthusiest? Because your implying that because I have that badge I'm a wanna be and your not. When I'm just appreciating the culture and automotive technology just like everyone else.

so what you are implying is that anything jdm is mugen right. so my volk rims are made by mugen too right. interesting. mugen has nothing to do w/ those badges.

you are 25 years old. how can you claim you are an elder driver or have any skill? do you drive professionally full time? do you get paid to drive heavily sponsored cars? if not, then you aren't very skilled my friend. you might be skilled to drive from point A to point B but that's it. if you drive around in japan w/ that badge on i guarantee that you will get a fat ticket and you will quickly take it off. they are required by law over there to have them on their car for those purposes i stated in my last post.

I guess what I'm trying to point out is that a person walking around with a wrench or screwdriver looks far more normal than a car driving around with a chunck of metal sticking out of the front bumper. To each his own I guess.

Kid, you need to lighten up. I bought that badge so nuckleheads like you would see it and want to challenge me on the road. It's all in good fun. And like I said, the mugen and jdm comment was briefly to explain what the badges were about, thanks for clearing that up. It's not that serious and like I stated above to each his own I don't have to explain anything to anyone and this is America so I won't get a ticket for my badge. So please Lay off the coffee or get some ass or something sheesh!

i'm older than you are so please don't call me a kid. challenge you in the street? i'm sorry, but i don't drive reckless on the streets. i drive reckless at the track and track only. a kid drives reckless in the streets. nobody would challenge you because of that badge. if anything they would just point and laugh. one day, hopefully soon, you will realize that what i am saying makes sense. no need to get all pissed man. i'm trying to give you some knowledge, that's all.

Please stay on topic or do not post.

aznbenz07, both positive and negative feedback should be accepted as opinions of others. No need to change what they think. It is, after all, your car.

Talking

Yea, your right datmrman that's why I explained earlier, to each his own. But this guy, starts talking about my tow hook and then my badges. It's like dude the post started for feedback on my lens covers, so get a life.

And if you don't race on the road why do you need this?

06_TL, "yes. that is a radar detector. it's the escort 8500 x50. works great and has gotten me out of a lot of run-ins with the cops. check this link for more info on various radar detectors. http://www.radarbusters.com/support...sts/Default.asp".

It's funny what a hypocrite . Any other comments about my lights? ok thanks for nothing. bye kids.

Aznbenz, there is a difference between racing and driving above the speed limit. A BIG difference.

Anyways, to stay on topic, although I do have my opinions on your JDM badge thing, I do like the blue tint, it looks pretty good in the daytime actually.

I wish there was a way to tint windows that light blue like on Mercedes. I looked it up and it seems that is a patented process in which the glass is made, and not something that we can just apply. I think it would be hot on certain colors (WDP and SSM come to mind).
It'd be especially good because certain states have (lame) restrictions on window tint, and the blue would be a nice alternative to 50% (or 35 here in MS).

are you serious? there is a huge difference between going 10 mph over the posted speed limit on the highway than street racing like you're in the next fast and furious movie. you seriously need to grow up QUICKLY. it's pretty obvious you live your life a street light at a time. once you mature and realize that you are putting people's lives in danger when you street race and drive like a complete moron you will get what i'm trying to tell you.

to stay on topic. the headlights look ok.
