Regret selling WDP TL-S :(
Hello Acurazine!
Recently I sold my WDP TL-S at 63k miles for $22k to help pay for my increasing tuition costs. The moment she was sold, I began to feel so much regret and remorse and started tearing up. I couldn't take it anymore.
Here are pics of her:

![](http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd450/b9le/MY%20TL/IMG_2185.jpg)
A day later, I contacted the buyers and asked them if they could come back and give me my car back. I was willing to give them an extra grand to pay for their time and trouble. They refused. The paperwork was done, and she was no longer mine.
That same day, my brother told me about a '08 KBP TL-S that he's been eyeing. It was at 28k miles in pristine condition for only $23.7k. I couldn't let it pass. I needed to fill the void inside me immediately, so I drove out with brother and bought it. Here is a picture:

Needless to say, although the KBP TL-S drives much better, it did not fill the void my WDP TL left behind. I still miss her and it will take a while for my ailing heart to heal.
Also, I wanted to give a shout out to the gentleman who was working at the Chase bank while I was making the sale. If you are reading this, you know who you are. It was such a rare coincidence to meet a fellow Acurazine member at a bank who was handling the sales transaction who also drives a WDP TL-S. You have good taste!

Well, and about 35k less miles. ![Tongue](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)

The need for extra tuition money was not necessary. Just like the car, it was a luxury. I opted for the car instead of easy payments to my school.

You would have paid 1K to get the car you already had back? I like TL's but they arent THAT cool lol. On top of that 1K you know you would have had to pay taxes again and stuff since the transaction was technically completed. You my friend are nuts haha.
Just curious why does the KBP TLS drive better than the same car in white? Unless it was a mileage thing I dont know because my TLS with 65K miles drives identically to the day it drove off the lot when new.
Well either way glad to see your happy and back in another TL.

Wow, I mean it was a stupid mistake on my part. I agree, but I didn't expect to get this much heat from acurazine. I thought this forum wasn't hater-tech.
To elaborate what I said earlier, I wanted to sell my car for extra cash to spend while I was moving on to graduate school; but like what one of the members said, I can simply take out loans. Therefore, selling the car was not necessary.
I made this thread to help members appreciate WDP, not to have people flame others for inadequate financial decisions. So the next time I make a thread like this, I should think twice, because the noses of acurazine is stuck deep into the assholes of of the innocent.

Perhaps in the future when you reach this fork in the road again, you will think back to all of our posts and say, "You know what? Acurazine saved my life"

Relax OP. Glad you decided to get another TL. I've learned that money comes and goes and when you die you can't take it with you so don't sweat one bad financial choice.

Whizkid, interesting story. Sorry there's some "hating" happening here. Once someone starts the hating, there's a lot of "piling on" that goes on.
Irregardless of the money, you've got a KBP, which is much rarer than any WDP. Enjoy your blue Type S-best of luck in school.

Smart move on your part. However, I am no longer in my undergraduate studies. I am in my first semester of med school and the financial aid I get is 100% loans. I have no choice but to take out loans; unless I want to pay $200k+ out of pocket.

But when you're spending 200K...what's another 20?!?!
Especially for your happiness! FWIW, KBP and CBP are the easiest to keep clean and the COOLEST colors to get the TL-S in IMO. WDP is pretty and can look great, but sure gets dirty.
Anyway, I'm sure it was a lesson...always sleep on these types of decisions for a while. I keep getting the "itch" but have a feeling I'll feel the same way as you!
And now that I think about it, you paid 2 grand and dropped 40 thousand miles from your car. That's actually a pretty good deal IMO.

You don't happen to....live in San Jose do you...? I work at Chase and helped someone cash a check and he happened to sell a WDP TL-S as well...asked me about Acurazine during the transaction..
