Current scheme... I have the top of the small square to the right of the fus box and the 2 strips just inside the fender edges yet to do. And 2 black "A"s that I might put on the engine cover like I had on the red.


Whats under thos 3 caps just below the engine cover that are held on with allen head cap screws .. can I remove them and paint the 3 caps?

Calipers will match the engine cover.

I am so glad...you changed it to that. Looks ALOT better. The only thing I'm not feeling is the gold "Acura" because it go with the gold on the cover, you should put the silver one back on so it matches the CAI.

Overall, good job

 

I tried the silver one on the cover and it was totally out of place... even got the women on the block to come over when all was installed and they saw the silver and gold on the cover and the other places and they selected gold on the cover.

Even tho its a good camera it still lookes better in R/L.

Good job! What spray paint did you use?

 

Gold is VHT Caliper paint

Grey is Dupli Color Engine Enamel Cast Coat Iron # DE1651.

dam, gold looks REAL good on that car.

 

No pix from afar .. but can take one if you like .. I cover it with electrical tape in the winter to prevent rock chipping .. same with the mirror backs and the edges of the fender wells and the compleet rocker panels ..

Jess...Is the grey color Matt finish or gloss? I like it

 

Why not take the tube off and wet sand it and paint it the same color as the engine cover. Its a little bit to get it off but do it on the next filter cleaning cycle.

You don't even have to paint it all .. just what you see before it goes through the fender.

 

Its more matte .. I was going to clear coat it but I liked it better like this .

I do mine spring & fall but its pretty clean up here.

I think the grey would look good on your cover & tube ... its like a gunmetal
