I may be wrong but that tape is not going to protect your car from a rock slamming into your car. Bugs yes, rocks no.

haha cuz clearbra is like 500 when i can get a roll of tape for 5 bucks just for a 7hr drive. and im pretty sure it would if anything it would at least HELP when a rock would hit it.
haha but why not try to prevent it.. should i just not take care of it at all since its gona get scratched anyways too?

I applaud your efforts but honestly, get the clear bra. Combine all of your mods that you have on your TL and that won't equal near the value of having the clear ba on the front end, BELIEVE me! Take a look...
My Dad's TL with about 55,000 miles on it. He just spent over $2200 getting the entire front end repainted and put a bra on... you be the judge.

I put the bra on my TSX and with it having 50,000 miles on it now, it is still flawless.
