Project Thread: '08 Acura TL-S - Corvette Red
Everything is coming together this weekend so I wanted to startup a my project thread to record all my trials and tribulations through the start of what I imagine will be several modification in years to come.
Shoutout to MrHeeltoe for my fully assembled Street Advances with EDFC- not to mention the black chrome strut tower which I now can't bare to put anything other than brand new hardware on to install haha...truly grateful for the expedited shipping...not so much to FedEx who never stopped at the correct address and listed the package " Incorrect Address: Recipient Moved" ...Talk about "going postal"...I almost set FedEx Main Distribution Center on fire with my eyes considering I didn't check the package until 4:30...Either here nor there, I got my suspension!!
Queens run yesterday to ProjectJDM for some pretty little lug nuts and my love laid a fresh new layer of wax on the car.... <br>

Alignment and New Tints this week...
It all goes in TODAY...and she gets put away for the week until Honda Day: 10th Anniversary ETown

I remember your car from a thread in the photo gallery a while back, can't wait to see the wheels on although I'm not too sure on the rainbow lugs lol. I have black lugs that look the same style (Muteki) and I love them.
Just a thought!

Shoutout to the DYI COILOVER thread, I cant remember who posted it off the top of my head...but bro, I drove myself CRAZY looking for that f!%king bolt under the headrest in that "cute little slit" which managed to swallow 2 sockets!! lol

Please excuse the shitty pictures...as you can tell, its was POURINGGG for most of the day and we were soaking wet...we've not even adjusted it. Back seats are still out, I'm wiring the EDFC today and relocating it to the Outlet right under the radio and shes gets dropped at least another inch...Its so beautiful.. I'm getting an alignment on Tuesday, the sidemarker and some last minute touches at the tint shop on Wednesday and and I'm saddle-soaping the leathers on Thursday...I'm super excited More pictures to come when she's done... and believe me they'll be professional pictures this time!!!

Oh and I havent taken pic of the black chrome bar yet because it has some KRUSTY ass hardware on it...lol Picture up some fresh hardware today and polishing it up for a photo-op. More to come...

Thank you!!! No A-Spec for me...next step is a customer carbon fiber lip kit ...then the final stage...Super Charged [If I end up having this car in my life forever, it will need to keep changing the game up to keep my interest]
I'm too enticed by all these J-Series swaps in these EK's not to do something extraordinary.

There was a hail storm about a year and a half ago that cratered up my car pretty badly...the hail was about the size of a golf ball and I was doing about 80mph on the highway when I ran into the storm...I was grateful It didn't break the glass and cause a serious accident. I was so heart broken I HATE BONDO and even worse, drilled holes from PDR.
I initially had the car redone the stock color of Carbon Bronze Pearl...and then after seeing the shi$%y dye-back of the body shop, I went all Gini on them and had them re-do it the RIGHT way. I even gave them a month to let each stage cure. While they had it in the shop, my boyfriend [The best Auto Body Painter ever!
] asked the shop if he could come in and spray it with Waterbourne. He also changed the color to something he knew I'd love...My favorite color Red. When I arrived to pick up my car...it was RED..I was in such shock I cried for 2 hours that someone would take the time to make something that meant so much to me, mean so much more. The hail storm was a blessing in disguise because I don't think I'd love this car as much as I do to keep it for as long as I have.
....And they all live happily ever after...THE END

EDFC Installed!
With a little creativity and some "dashboard hacking" that made me a little nervous to say the least, my boys Art & Dre did some justice to my EDFC relocation...It looks DAMN NEAR FACTORY!

I found solace in the fact that my local acura shop is pretty awesome about have items overnighted and that it was 1 single piece and a slap on the hand for replacement! hahaha

Thanks Swoosh! I checked it out yesterday and loved the M3 style, which of course they don't make anymore...then I seen the Sarona...which ehh, I'm okay with...and Then I found the carbon fiber one which was about the same price. Honestly, it needs one, I feel like I'm missing something there and its definitely going black if its a painted one.

they do make the BMW styled spoiler....hit up a vendor on ebay called "bmwoemshop"....her name is Alisha and they make BMW styled spoiler....I arranged a group buy with them couple years back actually....and the paint and fitment was spot on....
you can have it painted for free or just ask them to prime and send it over and you can paint it yourself (due to the custom color).....
now about asking my choice on em....since the group buy a lot of people have the same roof spoiler....because its like 60 bucks and looks good.....but if you want to be a little unique i would go with the ATLP V2 roof spoiler....i think that just looks so SICK
