Minor Update: After meeting with JayVee and listening to his stage 3 exhaust, I ordered the Dynomax the following morning. Thanks to him and The Machine for helping out with part #'s. I ordered through Amazon with free shipping and it arrived in two days.

Another Stage 3 buddy! You'll love it!

And Amazon FTW! I did the same. Lucky me, someone was selling for $43 and offered Amazon shipping so I got mine in 2 days as well.

I got it installed earlier today, but it was raining and I couldn't roll down my windows. From what I can tell inside the car, it compliments the intake resonator delete well.

You'll love the sound when you can hear it with the windows down. But it does sound awesome from inside the car as well with the windows up.

If you decide to make a video and the camera is up front with you, the best way to record sound and reduce the wind noise the camera picks up is to roll the rear windows down and open the sunroof. Leave the front windows up.

There are plenty of videos floating around so I probably won't make one. I'm suppose to go to the track on Thurs (if the weather holds out) and I'll try to get my friend to film some drive-by clips.

Still planning on going Stage 3 by the end of the month. Do you have any plans to go to the USF meet this Friday?

From what I can tell, so far so good. I'm going to have a friend drive my car so I can hear it from outside. I just need my lady to approve bc she wasn't happy to see this after dealing with my Cobra.

Predatorbird, have you driven a car with 5% tint before? Just curious because I went from 20% to 15%, and at 15% I can't see s%#t at night if I'm trying to back out of parking spaces, etc, just from 20 to 15 was a big difference. 5% sounds a bit dangerous IMHO, but maybe it's just my crappy night vision.

I had 5% years ago on my 94 Firebird and my Cobra had 5% rear/quarters and 30% side... Tint is on hold right now for my car, but I will most likely do 5% rear and 15 or 20% sides. It does take some getting use to to. I usually back my car in everywehre I go and I always check out what's behind me before getting in my car to back out of places.

Thanks guys! I like that it has a smooth, clean sound and isn't real loud to draw unwanted attention. I'm tempted to buy the AEM V2 just for that loud, deep roar when you get on it.

Getting ready to go to the track with two R32 buddies. I have no idea what I'll run, just going for the pure fun of it.

Best run of the night was my first. Ran a 14.85 @94.xx. After my 4th run my check engine started flashing and stayed on. I didn't run a anymore after that. The car is driving fine, but I'm going to get the code scanned in the AM.

Not shabby...I was expecting low 15s. But it ran in the ball park of what I was thinking these cars will run (base model). I am sure the check engine will be gone in the morning. If not, let us know what was the cause. I believe it will shoot something regarding emissions from running hard back to back to back...Signal meaning WTF! lol!

his avatar looks like TP or near Lakeland there is a long tan wall like that near exit 30-33. My avatar was taken by predatorbird/Adam on N. Dale Mabry near Lake Park and Van Dyke.

Hey Adam, check this out, since you're pretty handy. Much cheaper than a full on V2 intake and you get the same growl.

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/3g-diy-poor-mans-cold-air-intake-pics-853546/#post13708409

Also, keep us posted on the CEL. And if you're going to be tinkering, get yourself one of these and the TORQUE app on your phone. Can check and clear your own codes.

I was having this issue on and off for the past few months, that's why I changed my spark plugs hoping it would fix a random misfire. I also changed my TPS sensor awhile back so I know it's not those two problems. My guess is either a bad o2 sensor or my ECU needs a reflash from a TSB on the 04's.

I was hoping for a high 14, but expecting low 15's. My first run was against a new Camaro. I hung with him pretty well and when I saw him hit a 13 sec time I knew I'd be in the 14's as I crossed the line. My friend with the R32 did a 14.3 his first pass.

They were done by me in Lakewood Ranch. The wall is perfect as a backdrop and it's my go-to spot for rollers.

Thanks for those links. On your homemade CAI, you essentially took out the stock filter, cut the tube used for the resonator delete, and put a filter on the end of it? I was inspecting my car yesterday and my tube had come off the airbox and was sitting in the fender. I didn't have any clamps, so I tip-zied it and it's on there good now.

I was thinking about that OBD2 reader last night. I wouldn't mind a code reader just to save the trouble of getting it scanned at Advance Auto.
