^^ jptl04, that lip is so much cleaner than my type-s lip, I really miss my chrome inserts on the grill, I didn't know you can put the base lip on a type-s, too late for me now...

 

If yours is a type-s like mine that is the lip that we started with stock. our a-spec goes over the top of that one.

If you have a type-s with a-spec lip, just take it off and you will have that look. I have the factory bottom grills out in my shop if you need.

You are incorrect to the maximum.

The TL-S does not come standard with a lip from the factory.
That is a 07-08 Base A-spec Lip.
It was slightly trimmed, and custom fitted to a TL-S bumper.
The 07-08 Base lip has a very clean, sleek look. It does not fit on a 04-06, or 07-08 TL-S without modification, which does change the shape a little.

The front bumper on the 07-08 type-s looks the same stock as the base tl does with the a-spec lip. here is a photo of my car without the a-spec, it is not the best pic but you should be able to see what I am talking about.

 

I want this front lip and i have a 07 tl type s.. What would i order a type s front lip or a aspec front lip for a 07 type s... Sorry to ask im a little confused

 

^ you would order an aspec for 07+ Type-S model has no bearing. There is 04-06 or 07-08 types of aspec
