The a-spec Tl i test drove the other day had the brakes that said acura and it was the 5 speed automatic. Is it an option to get those with your aspec package or not because i've seen alot of tls on here with the aspec package and no brakes that say acura.

I've noticed that most do not care too much for the steering wheel and Brembos, because they prefer BBK.

I'm with you on this one.... hmm need to look into this one....

This is incorrect. Brembo brakes are standard equipment on manual transmission TLs. The Auto cars come with 1 piston regular sliding calipers. The A-spec package for auto cars come with better brake PADS, still utilizing stock calipers.

lol. I noticed you've got some tools on the side there. Did you install it in that parking lot?

Thanks! Yeah, i installed it in that parking lot, which is 2 minutes from my house. My driveway is slanted so I didn't want to jack up my car at home.

Just put the wheels on cause it was so nice today. Washed her up and here are some pics for you to enjoy.
I need someone who can tint the car and add the moleskin. I would hate to see it all scratched up.

I got them in the Seattle Area...I think I paid about 300 US per rim plus 600 for the tires. 1800 US for the set....I got them last year and just had 3 of the four replaced under warranty due to chipping.
Hopefully I can come out to the meet....probably can;t make the trip up to whistler but will definately come hang out for a bit.

How do you guys think it would look with just the rear piece? I like the front and would rather the whole kit but lack of $$$ isnt gonna make that a possibility. I do like the back though. You guys think it would look weird?

I didn't scan through all the pages to see if you got your answer or not. Sure is a ton of proud A-Spec owners out there. :thumbs up:
The answer is ONLY THE MT has the brembo brakes. Doesn't matter if you get the A-Spec package or not. THE AT never gets Brembos with or without the A-Spec. THE AT with the A-Spec gets upgraded (bigger, beefier) brake pads on the front.
Hope that answers your question.

I've got a question for those with a-spec bodykits -
I'm thinking about getting the kit for my AM TL but in just about every picture I've come across you can see the difference in paint between the car and the bodykit. Is it just the pictures or is it really that noticeable in person? Does it bother anyone? Is it going to be even more pronounced because my car is a little older (a year and three months)? Don't want to hijack the thread but figured this would be the best place to ask. Thanks.

I have an 04, and got the kit installed a month after I bought the car, which was like 3 months ago or so. And the paint matches almost perfectly.
The difference is not enough to be noticed, but there is a difference in the shade of metal pieces painted compared to plastic pieces like the bumpers.
