Excellent work, Grasshopper ! And who said the WDP doesn't look terrific after a good wash? I use NXT on mine and am amazed each and everytime.

If I happened to be flying by, and seeing your car shine out in the open, I'd just have to perch overhead and admire how newer than new it appears.

Wow, that WDP paint looks ... so good . . . ugh . . . it makes me wanna . . . uh oh! Something's brewing down below! CRAP !

Oh man, all over your roof and hood. Sorry bro, I know you must of spent hours detailing and for me just to come and do-do on your pride-n-joy like that...

Eh . Nice and clean. So shiny!

Thanks for all the comments!! It really did not take that long.
It only took about 4 hours. I did it all by hand. I might use my dad's orbiter to make things easier and quicker...

funny that you said that. i stepped out for lunch to find a big piece of goose poop on my roof. had to take it to the car wash to get rid of it quickly.

That sucks, huh? Maybe it's just coincidence, but it seems certain car colors attract those avarian dumpers. My previous 96 Accord (dark green) repeatedly got pelted with half-digested worm pulp. This was true especially a week after having washed the car. Maybe those darn airborne septic tanks were trying to send me a message for my car: "WASH ME". Well, it's been about a month so far with my blue TL-S, with no signs of white-out anywhere on it.

So, geese are plentiful up there? They must $hit like hail. Now, I've never had any experience with white-colored cars...hehe...but maybe the flock thought your WDP TL was mother goose!

White is a tough nut to make pop but you did a nice job. You may want to try another reflection shot like the flowers but wait till the sun is shining on the opposite side of the car. The flowers will pick up the sunlight and the reflection will be much deeper.

Nice shine, but I personally don't like your wheel design. Why do they look so small? Anyhow, you've moved on to faster and more German things... congrats on the S4! That's an amazing car.

the wheels were 18" SSR Comps. very strong and light wheel due to them being forged. they just look smaller due to the lip. an 18" dish type wheel will always look smaller. also, maybe you're just used to seeing the other TLs with 19" wheels or bigger.

Nice job! I have a WDP too.

NXT is good stuff, surprisingly enough for off-the-shelf wax. I found that it attracts dust quickly though (at least out here in the desert).

I've started using Klasse AIO and Sealer Glaze on mine and LOVE the results. Super smooth and lasts a long time. It's acrylic so that might be the difference on not attracting dust and lasting a long time.

i just started using Adam's Car Care Products. they are just great. very easy to use. the best part is that you can use them in the shade or under direct sun.
