If I was you I would do your wet sand but skip the buff. After that give it a couple coats of clear. To be honest it is right up top where the sun can get at it. Even if you do have some UV stuff in the resin I would definitely put some clear on it. It'll keep the weather from eating away at the resin and messing up the finish. It'll also keep the resin from yellowing over time. Don't let all that hard work go to waste. Protect it.
Also, if you want it peeerfect you can put 3 or 4 coats of clear on it and then block sand it smooth to eliminate the low spots. Then it will be smooth and non-wavy. I'll make a pic below.

no you cant use guide coat on clear..all you have is to wet sand with 1200 wet hard block and then 3000 wet...

thanks for the info bro...i didnt take pics of it when i did the sanding but those pics are of the finished product..the roof has 12 coats of clear i sanded the resin and had 3 sessions of clear coating..thats why i said i have to do the wet sand and buff...all i got to do is hard block it make smooth and flat and buff..believe me that clear aint cracking...well i hope..lol
This is grade A stuff! Good work!

that it won't make any difference in reception. I have some CF but it is a 2x2 weave and it wouldn't match the weave you used. I have alot of resin sitting around not being used too. If you want we could trade a small piece of CF,say 12"x10", and I can make you a cap to go over the antenna for free. All this stuff is just sitting here. And I'd be really interested in doing it. That way you could just attach it with a piece of 3M tape and it wouldn't mess your XM cover up. And you could see if it would mess up your reception. What do u think? PM me.

Thanks for the props to everyone. I did do the work by myself but im not gonna lie, my best co-worker helped me layin the cloth. Had a lot of support and suggestions...but the labor was all me.

you got some skills!!!!!!!! i was debating my options on what i can do to my roof a while back, but a black car with a flat roof doesnt do it...now a cf top would!!!!!!!

Haha. Yea cf is dope. I saw an M3 and then i was determined to do it. Black im not sure how it would look. Believe me ive been working on this roof for 6 wks. Now just gotta wet sand and buff.

let me know what you guys think..have to clean the edges a little bit but believe me im going to bragg about this roof for a long time...came out better than i expected....

You should not have reception problems with the CF, I've mounted Satellite radio antennas inside of dashboards and still got reception. The only thing that might happen more is that trees will seem to have a larger effect on your signal.
