Im a painter dont mess with taking off the roof and making the mold. I only work on it on the wkends and some nights. So i took it the "easy" way. Not really. But if i had the time i would of done that.

That's cool. There wouldn't have been much of a weight difference anyways. You would have had to use 4 layers of CF for rigidty and it most likely would have weighed about the same or slightly less when complete. I just hope it doesn't un-stick. Did you use a scuffing pad on the roof before laying on the CF? That would give it more tooth.

NCTL05 I sanded the clear after i painted it black to 400 grit so the resin would stick... and all i spent was 150 bucks for the cloth and resin..labor was free will post pics of the car and the fiber and shit in a few..

this is what i have left for carbon fiber for my sarona roof spoiler...people might think its a decal, vinyl or and actual cf roof that i replaced but no...

felt like chrismas today at work..pics
wow my car is almost ready for paint..carbon fiber roof is half way there and today i got my aspec lip kit...new front bumper...accord fogs and 08 rear bumper...woohooo

op was the paint or body work in bad condition? if you are keeping it the same color why did you sand it all down? how about shaving the doorhandles while your at it
