Pics of sills, custom entry lite and footwell lite

after a long wait, i finally got a chance to install my sills and the LED chain
sry about the low resolution, i forgot to set it @ higher resolution..and i didn't use tripod for my last pics, so it's kinda shaky...
the LED chain is only visable from about 1 car lengh and otherwise it's hidden by the door. i installed the entry lite (LED chain) before i installed the sills..i had no problem with the clearence issue, however, after i installed the sills, the LED scratchs my sills ...so i took it off now...trying to fix the clearence....
anyway, enjoy the pics!!

i got the LED chain (or wutever it's called) from superbrightleds.com
and then stick them underneath the door...there's only one place to stick it...u will find it if u look under ur door...and then i got the power from the door lite...and that's it...simple , nice and classy!!!

I got the same setup on my car. However, somehow my front sills light dimmer than the rear. Why is that?

i think the blue looks hot, i think when u start to mix blue and white together then it gets overly done. but i don't think its overkill, i think that if u added neons under the car that would be overkill, but i think its pretty hot, i changed my vanity mirrors to SUPERWHITE LED's so if i need to see then i can use them. I LOVE THE LED CHAIN, thats gonna be next on my list. how hard was the install, maybe u could do a WRITEUP of how to install? id love to see that...also...how did u attach the LED chain?

i will try to take a day time pic this weekend and show u guys where to attach it...
however, i took mine off the LED chain already becuase it's scratching the sills...if u have the OEM sills, it will not be a problem....

ckya,

What did you use as footwell lights? How did you wire it up? When do they come on and go off? Please let me know, I'd like to do that mod. Thanks!

FINALLY i got a chance to wash my car, take some pics and do my write up! sry for the wait guys!
like i told u guys before, the LED chain scratches with my sills...so i took them off now...but here shows where i stick them to...and the approx. size of the chain. that's a quarter in the pic, so u have an idea how big is it. i connected the power to the door lite.

and here's an approx place where i put my footwell light..and this is the type of LED i used for footwell.....but i don't suggest ppl to use it...cuz angle is too wide..it points left 45, middle and rite 45. i wired it the same way as i wired the sills. so if u want to know how to wire it, just do a search for the sills instruction and u will find it for sure. cuz i lost the link already....

bcox of the white balance, the white LED looks a bit blueish...
and those r the new blue 9-LED that i bought for the rear...but i dun like that blue..it's too "cyan"...i prefer the old blue 6-LED...i'm gonan switch it back later on.

of course it's possible..... i ahven't check the clearence, but it should be fine..
the only problem is wiring for the power is much hard then the front door since i just tap the power from the door light......

i didn't mean possible in that sense, bad word choice on my part. i meant if its possible to make it look decent.

because the doors are curved and there is no straight piece to put them on. so it would have to ride up the door. it seems like a cool mod.

that's wut i had in mind in the first place as well...but it seems that it wouldn't look decent cuz it looks like the door can only hide about 4 LEDs underneath it...it won't come out as nice as the front...BUT....it won't hurt to try?!hahaha those LED string is only 8 or 9 bucks....if it doens't work, u can put it as footwell light...
