very nice car...not feelin the mudflaps, but the wheels are tight. is that 35% tint? looks perfect, not too dark not too light.

XBoyLive:

Are those SSR GT1's? They look good. Will you be lowering your car?

I agree with DieselNJ, great wheels and car. You would really change the looks (without the mud flaps) with the OEM body kit.

that`s a reality check on how large the wheel wells are... 19`s barely fill them... a slight sport drop would definitely add nicely... mud flaps are straight, on black paint... they make flex paint to color match, but i don`t know about hitting rocks...

nice..either lowering or a front lip would enhance the look even more.
nice job.

Tint is acutally 40% with the factory darking it a little more.. shop light meter indicated it was 38% when they tested w/tint installed .. NC is strick so I did not do 35%... wheels are Excels... the mud flaps were a dealer add on (not by choice).. at least they did not pinstripe her ... kinda tossed on the flaps/ground kit now ... so they will be as is for now ... as the name suggest "xboylive" ->the xbox, 10in screen is coming next .. keep ya posted ...

DOES ANYONE HAVE SPRINGS THAT ARE NOT THE A-SPEC PACKAGE ??

ONE THE BEST FORUMS AROUND!!! ...

I don't like dark colored wheels but the A-Spec aero kit has the same color highlights. It will at least give your car more flow in styling. Are those 245/35-19 tires?

I don't like the darker colored wheels either. Same for the wheels on the aspec, they look too dark.

I like 'em, but it looks like it could use more tire. What size are those? A bit of a drop and that will look hot!

I like the style of the wheels. However, I think silver wheels look better on an SSM car and the darker gunmetal wheels look better on the darker colored cars. Nice wheels though. I also second everyone about axing the mudflaps.

Just curious, who makes those wheels? What is the name of them?

I agree 100% thoes mud flaps will scratch the paint if they are not taken off.. Looks Great!! Love the rims. they work nicely with the car, but the height (not bieng lowered), threw me off right away.. Drop that car...

Silver TL

Hey Guys!

I have had my 3G TL for about two week. It is silver, I am really lost in picking a rim style. I don't want Chrome I really like the Hyperblack or the black face polished/machined lip look rims..............Any suggestions?

Is there a problem with 19" on a A-Spec lowering kit?

My TL is the same color of yours, like the look. My 3G TL will be lowered this thursday, now I need rims. I like your ssr's but the dealer didn't recommend going to 19" rims........

I have not had any problems with my 19s/dunlap tires .. .. I will say do not run anything less than a 235/35/19 ..... the ride is not bad .. but I had a accord with springs and wheels.. so its a matter of opinion. but I went on a road trip and the wifey did not complain as in my accord.. so I say its okay.... I am nervous about my springs (comptechs) , I should have them by next week .. 19s + springs might make a crap ride ... Gunmetal or Black is the way to go on the silver as far as my taste ... pick a wheel that compliments the lines of the car . blends into the flow .. when u look at the car u should not notice the wheels only ... personal opinion ...
