The car looks awesome, don't listen to these guys they are addicted to slammed rides haha!
But seriously, if you take me I can't fucking drop it even if I wanted to, driving in the city, the car would be kissing every curb, every speed bump and etc. you get the point. That's why I'm riding on the A-spec suspension. Only lowered me about half an inch but took the slack away form the stock suspension, exactly what I needed.
If you do decide to go with the coilover, it's not 1500, you could get one under a thou. There are many choices too, H$R, KW and most popular Tein.
There are less expensive alternatives however like the aforementioned A-spec suspension, the Koni yellow shocks with Comptech(Eibach), H&R, Tein, or Progress springs, great combos. Great result as well and adjustabeability to boot! Or you could just get the springs but you shocks will eventually go and the ride might become bouncy!
A lot of choices...

Ok...I travel alot, so if I drop it, I'm also going to kiss the curbs. I do have the a-spec suspension, so maybe I'll just invest in some rims (18's), but I think that I'm going to get the race pedels and door stills from the vendor here.
Oh, I do have one question for people who have 18's - Can you recommend some tires that have good tread life but not too expensive. I was looking at getting the TSW Mondello in 18's in Hyper Black / Marrior Cut Lip? What do you think about them?? Any good tires for it??
