pics of my car lowered with Tein S-tech
Here are some pics of my car lowered with S-Tech springs. I think the ride height is just right and the ride quality is pretty good as well.. definatley stiffer than stock, but still a pretty smooth ride. and it got rid of the floaty feeling.

1.3 in the rear and 1.2 in the front. i don't scrape on anything. so it seems like a reasonably drop

thats pretty nice, I think for $140 you cant go wrong with this set-up, I was going to get a set of Tein Super Streets w/ EDFC, but for around $1300 and having to take out the front brace strut bar, I think this will look identical, and save me enough money to get some brakes.. Thanks alot for helping me make my decision!

no... i didn't use a camber kit... the camber was actually in stock specs... barely though... i think i still will get neg camber tire wear... so a camber kit will be in the near future.

Personal thanks to Mugen, for helping me save around $1300 in deciding against the Tein SS w/ EDFC. I will be ordering my springs off ebay as well very soon. Send me a PM if you need help with anything!

looks good, i just dont like the idea that the back is .1" lower stock then the front. but thats not much of a difference.
it would be nice the other way around. drop looks sick!
who did the install? and how long/much did the install cost?
150 for springs is cheap, i remember couple years back when it was about 250 plus install.
just worried about the install and the camber. wore my tires out on my last ride thru camber

its just the idea of the weight shift change, but its not that much in the first place.
the difference in drop is because those springs are made for the v6 accord and the weight distribution is different. on the accord, it actually gives you an equal drop. the TL is heavier in the rear then the accord. (weight distribution wise)

Alot of the guys with tein coilovers, actually have the front and rear lowered at different heights, .1" isnt really noticeable like you said, however I ordered these springs for $109.99, you cannot beat that price for a Tein product that will lower my car 1.3 in the rear and 1.2 in the front.. Great deal

MugenR,
I work in Bellevue and noticed that you were taking pics at Bellevue Square. If you're ever interested in meeting up, I would be interested. I've got an O5 SSM Auto,non-Navi (I know my way around).
I just received my Tein SS and am looking forward to putting them in. I've only installed the front lip thus far but plan to do the sides and rear as well. I think I'll upgrade to the 6MT front swaybar and Comptech rear bar. I'd like to see if either Neuspeed or Energy Suspension could do some polyurethane bushings for the front sway bar. I've also been communicating with Tein to encourage them to put out a front upper strut brace that will work with the Tein EDFC system.
Later,
Terry

SURE! lets meet up... do you know how to fixt the rear deck rattle?
#38
MugenR,
Maybe some day next week.
I don't know a specific fix for the TL rear deck rattle but it looks pretty similiar in design to my previous car; 2001 Honda Civic EX coupe. In that case, I took the deck panel out, laid down a single layer of quilt batting (from any craft shop) and put a piece of adhesive-backed felt along the rear edge of the plastic deck that can often rattle against the window. Once I did that and lined the rest of the interior with batting as well as taped down any loose wires/connectors,etc, I could play hard hitting stuff quite loud without rattles.
As far as how to remove the TL rear deck, I would consult the factory shop manual.
