pics of my car...
with... nothing done to it!
haha just got it about a month ago, so havent really had time to do anything, but now looking for a few things...to do!
1. Aspec Skirts
2. Lowered
3. ...rims maybe!
iv seen a few ppl on here that are using stock rims and i think it looks great. but i guess its all about the ride height. just confused as to go for springs or coil overs
messed around with the pics a bit .. tried to flashy up a stock TL haha...but i guess you gotta start somewhere

what are the benefits besides ajustability to go with coilovers over just springs?
say i wasnt going to drop it up much.. 1.5" or so with just springs... would i be losing ride quality or something? and if i just get springs, do i also need struts and whatever else to compensate for the lowered springs?
feel like a noob asking, but i dont want to go to cheap, but at the same time, i dont want to go overkill either.

Some coilovers like the TEIN SS, Megan, Konis have dampening adjustment which allows you to change the firmness. Also coilovers give you height adjustment, even though you only want to go 1.5'' you might want to go lower later on or when you get wheels. It's just a better investment in the long run and will handle better.

Welcome and get ready to go BROKE.
I highly suggest coil-overs. I have done the Eibach Pro springs b4 and DID NOT like it. I have Tein SS going in very soon and can't wait. I am lowering the rear about 1" and the front a little more, I can't go any lower in the rear because my Yoko S-Drive 245/35/19" tires are so friken WIDE. Flush with the fender mounted to 19" Axis Hiro +35mm offset.

Nice ride. I just purchased an abyss blue 05 TL w/nav. stripped model like yours about 1 week ago. I’m making some mods too. I’m starting with the full underbody kit. Just purchased a complete A-spec under body kit from kcunningham@hanselauto.com. I’ve been checking around for prices for the kit...eBay, Craig’s list, etc. I checked around and found that this guy has the best prices. He will ship the complete set...front, sides and rear to your door for $750. That price includes shipping. Trust me... I am not benefitting from giving this info out. I believe the company is running a special as part of a March Madness sale. I will post before and after pics as soon as project is complete.
