Looks like a very nice clean TLS. I know you are looking to sell down the road, but I bet there aren't many folks in your position (as much as we know) who would be looking to sell.

Difficult question to answer without knowing all the details of your situation and I'm not necessarily asking you to share those if you don't want.
I know you said it was in impulsive buy, but it's a really nice impluse buy with what doesn't appear to have a lot of downside. The color combination along with the 6 speed being fairly rare, make it very desirable.
You have to do what is right for you, but you are in a pretty good position.

well, I have to say, there is really no reason that I want/need to get rid of the car. I do enjoy it and, as ive said before, this is my 3rd 3g TL, maybe that's why I throw around the idea of selling it. I knew that it was rare when I bought it and that was a good reason why I did. With that being said, I still don't know if I can get what I owe at the given moment. I take great care of the car, as I do with all my cars. Also, I feel that I should sell it before it loses value. But I could be wrong. Any other thoughts? You've been very helpful so far

I would think you would be in good shape for a bit especially if you take good care of it. It is currently the last model year of the Type S and as it is rare now it will only continue to be. I believe there will always be a market for this car especially for the Acura enthusiast. Many folks aren't crazy about the 4G model changes - especially the beak or so called power plenum. However with that being said - Acura seems to have fixed that.
Just bear in mind this is not a collectible like a 60's Mustang or Camaro, but your version is rare. Keep in mind I might be a little biased as I drive a NBP 08 TLS 6 Speed.

Well, I think we are all a little biased on this forum, lol. But, I believe that your comments come from your knowledge. You make a lot of good points, and I appreciate them very much. I, myself, wasn't crazy about the 4g model either and I know plenty others in the same boat. I feel the 3g was the best body style for the TL and Acura should have tried to work off that design for the 4g.

That's a catch-22 for him. He wants to keep it as stock as possible so he can potentially sell it in a year. However if he modded it, that might help convince him to keep it.

Yeah, man, I agree with the above. I've been looking for a CBP TL-S with decent mileage and in solid condition for a solid 5-6 months now. They are definitely getting harder to find. Enjoy it and it if you do so happen to sell, keep me in mind ;-) haha.

Lol, it's funny you say that. That is very true. If I put the aspec on it and a drop it would make it more desirable for me but finding that color kit is almost impossible. I tried to find someone putting their car back to stock for a swap but couldn't

Unhappy

My last '08 civic had a color close to that, then some kid texting rear ended me and totalled it ... I miss it.

But now I have my '07 WDP TL-S so, win for me.
