Pic Request: Drilled & Slotted rotors...

...on factory Type-S wheels.

I have found several pics of D/S rotors, but they've all been on aftermarket rims.

I've started to get some pulsation when braking, and the dealer just told me that my pads are still at 70% a couple weeks ago. I figured, since I'm prolly due for new rotors, I could update to the D/S, as long as they don't look ridiculous on the Type-S wheels.

Thanks!

Those definitely look good, but I won't be changing my wheels (at least any time soon) so I want to make sure they'll look good with stock Type-S wheels.

Thanks for the pics though, I do love those rotors.

I have rotora drilled and slotted as well but on a 05 auto. My slots are pointing the opposite direction. Did my mechanic instal them incorrectly?

Buck, I wanted to do this mod, but as you can see from Murph's picture, you really don't see the mod that well. I decided not to do this because I want to keep my OEM Type S wheels.

Wait, as the car is going forward.. hypothetically the way the rotors are on now; all dust, water, etc will flow toward the center of the hub. I thought we wanted opposite? If so, then 07tl yours are installed correctly and 04WDP is backwards.

Some one please correct me if I'm wrong.

i think it all depends on the inner veins on which way the rotor is supposed to be placed. the outside drilled/slotted pattern doesn't really matter.

I have some on an 04 eclipse and the manufacturers instructions were to install them like murph has his. It must be whatever way the manufacturer says to...brembo is opposite...mine stop on a dime though either way!

well when the are spinning the circular motion would make everything fly out of the rotor....but anyway i would install the the way the manufacturer tells you...and it does depend on the way the veins go.....
