One month so far....

One month has passed since I bought my 05 TL. No serious mods yet...just a lil painting here and there. I am obsessed with blue and white...so my WDP is getting blue highlights!!

I have been tossing around the idea of doing the rear Acura emblem as well. The only other mod I have done is a DDM HID foglight kit...35W 6000k...and wow...she puts out a lot of light now!!
What do ya think??

Not bad. I wouldn't carry the theme over to more major parts of the car (IE the grille) as it looks good as just an accent color. Unique for sure.

Agreed. Keep it subtle. I kinda like it. I think the rear emblem in blue on an otherwise debadged trunk would not be too bad. Should be real easy to Photoshop just to see.

Not what I would do to my TL, but whatever floats your boat. Plus it isn't over done or trashy looking, so I give you props on that.

You could always paint your calipers blue so they accent the emblem on the wheels.

Thanks for the comments so far. I plan to keep the blue to an "accent" color strictly. Blue caliper paint is in the works...I bought the duplicolor kit but didn't like the blue shade they had...I am thinking that any high temp paint will work. Blue led's are en route....but other lighting projects are on hold until I design a MUCH brighter back-up lights system. I am thinking of doing a PCB LED configuration the exact size of the backup light housing....probably 30 5w bulbs on it.

Rwest, if you like blue & white-go for it. Keeping in subtle is a good idea.

The whole blue/white combo reminds me of the old school mustang fastback gt. Keep it subtle for sure.
