I looked for awhile and couldn't find a part number or the type of bolt it is. I got the the new rotors in, going to try to install them this weekend. I'll let you know how it works out.

Did you read my post?
I'm not sure if the RL ones are made by brembo...
but if they are, like the TL...HONDA/ACURA WOULD NOT STOCK THE INDIVIDUAL PARTS OF A SOLD ENTIRE UNIT.
Same with headlights...you can't find TL internal headlight parts because Stanley or whoever ships them the entire oem piece to their specification. Those calipers arrived at the Honda plant in one piece ready for install...IT IS NOT A HONDA PART so the parts it's comprised of will not be honda parts.
I'm using logic here...but I bet I'm right. Find out who makes the caliper and contact them...I'm sure the bolt is readily available and probably used across many of their caliper platforms.

Thanks, your right Jay. I must have missed your post? But yea they are an entire unit. They are made by Advics. I made a post on the RL side of things and one guy mentioned to just replace them all with hex bolts from a hardware store. I just have to get the measurements. I can also send a email to advics support and see what they say as well

A local specialized hardware store that carries every nut and bolt you can think of (not Home Depot) should be the place to get them, just match the thread specs.

I usually go to a place called fastenal for any bolt I need and they've always had what I need. I agree with guitarplayer16 find a place that specializes in it and you should be able to find it

I'm just going to replace them with 8 hex bolts from a hardware store. Ill post what I get with measurements
If I could do it over I wouldnt have split the two halves apart but I'm getting them powder coated so I guess they need to be taken apart anyways lol

its really not a big deal to separate them to be honest. one of them came apart no issues. I needed to get all the seals and stuff out before putting them in the oven for powder anyway

Put the rl calipers on my car today, the maxima rotors fit much better and did not rub the caliper. Good luck with your install when the time comes. It wasn't to pad just time consuming.

J, to powder them youll have to split them, because you have to remove all the seals and stuff as they will get melted in the oven...in my case spitting them turned out to be a lot of work. two bolts are stuck in there, had to cut the heads off them and been spraying penetrating fluid in there everyday and I'm getting very little movement. I am making some progress though. I just dont want to throw them in a press because that force will prob damage the aluminum
cutting the heads off should allow for one side to pull right off but they must be rusted pretty fucking good

I wasn't entirely opposed to painting them, but I just dont want it to flake off a year later or whatever. Ive had good experiences with PC.
And thanks man, gonna need it lol

Three Wheelin'
Drill the bolts out or try that drill bit that grabs bolts who's heads have snapped off
And if you're doing this might as well get a rebuild kit for all new seals and stuff when you put it back together they'll be like new

I was worried about the bolts being difficult to get out or stripping out the caliper. If you didn't have to split them I would have powder coated them. The only reasons the rears are powder coated is the rear calipers seized right after I bought the car. Brakemotive had a set of rotors pads and all four calipers powder coated red for a good deal so I got them.

^^ I've always been a laker fan and am a huge Kobe fan. I went to the game against the Celtics a week ago and had an amazing time watching him live one more time.
I lost my absolute mind watching the game last night and it was the perfect ending to an amazing career. He will be greatly missed.
