See now these are perfect drops...don't mind me I love a nice lowered car but to the point where it cant be driven on the streets avoiding every single dip now thats just to low and excessive neg camber o_O thats just kind of ridiculous. ...when I lower my car I plan on running like a 35+ 30+ offset in at least 18" in the front and 19" in the back with more of an offset in the rear and have my fenders flush with the tires but not at the point of tucking with neg camber. ....all cars posted are a prime example of how a car needs to be dropped and still is functional to be driven on the streets

If anything I would think my new setup is more aggressive...19" and offset is lower.

You know, Jeremy........I know a guy who knows a guy who knows another guy that can make your unofficial thread an official thread.......
It's gonna take a LOT of work and LOTS of pimp money......just let me know if you want me to set the wheels in motion!
I know, buddy......you're welcome.

Thanks for the thread rock! Everyone should keep posting specs with the pics for some good reference.
Here's mine, really need to shoot some new pics...
F: 18x8.5+45 & 15mm spacer w/ 235/40-18
R: 18x9.5+45 & 15mm spacer w/ 265/35-18
ISC N1 dropped to 24-3/4" (front) and 25" (rear) ground to fender

BTW, it must be nice when you can post in both the "UNofficial slammed" thread and the "Official not slammed but dammit we need our own thread too" thread and pull it off both ways. &

Somehow missed this originally, but fantastic idea J!
I think I qualify for this one:
Fr: 19x8.5 +35 w/ 15mm spacer for effective +20
Rr: 19x9.5 +35 w/ 5mm spacer for effective +30
Moderately lowered on Tein Street Advance

I'm installing a set of ISC coilovers here this weekend, I hope. Stock wheels on an '06. I'm being lazy and asking if anyone knows a good place to start with the coilovers to not have to adjust 5 times?
#65
If I had to do the install all over again, on stock wheels, I'd do this...
1. Grease the threads on the shock body.
2. Set the dampening midway (16 clicks).
3. Install all four corners at max drop. I'd suggest just installing them maxed out since it'll prevent you from spinning the shock in the sleeve during install and possibly altering any "fine tuned" measurements you tried to make before bolting the assembly up to the car.
4. With the car on the ground, measure ground to top of fender opening, and figure out how much you need to adjust to get to either 24-3/4" or 25" ground to fender.
5. Ride like that for awhile and (a) pay attention to rubbing and ride comfort then (b) adjust the dampening and height from there.
Doing it that way, you'll adjust them once the day you install them and then only as desired moving forward. Just accept the fact that you want to tweak the adjustment at least once or twice after the original installation day. It happens, but that's what's nice about coilovers vs. springs...at least you have the option.
Keep the rear seats and front strut bar off the car until after you make the first round or two of adjustments to the dampening. It's nice to not have to worry about that removal and reinstall while you're learning what feels comfortable.

Good thing about the TL is for the most part, you can jack the car up and reach in and make adjustments without taking the wheels off...just need to make sure to do front and rear together so you don't load the suspension. That's how it works with TEIN since no separate preload...
