What do you mean by this? I just jack up either the front or rear, change the wheel height for each side to where I want, lower car, check, and then redo or move onto jacking up the other half (front or rear)

If you jack up from the side, you put pressure on the other side, which raises the tire on the jacked up side "loading" it...so you'll have less space to squeeze your arm in and the coilover locking rings will be SUPER tight to adjust because they are under load.

Oh ok this wording makes sense and is what I do. The way you first stated was misleading and "rear and front together" made it sound like you suggested the left front and left rear at the same time by jacking up the side.

We're on the same page

Hey, I'd never tell anyone they're not welcome! Someone says they're moderately lowered and they're scraping frame...it's all perception!

I'm somewhere in between - lol... I'm 24.25 ground to fender. And hey, I haven't scraped since I got rid of my XLR8 V1 jpipe. That thing would scrape with a bone stock TL.

Thanks for this thread, I didn't qualify for the other one, lol.

Tein Basics, about 2.25" drop (I think. I had them lower but this is as low as I can go around NYC.) rear 5mm spacers

Work Schwert SC1 O-disk 2-piece in machined silver finish with polished lips.

19x9.5" front +32 with a 3.5" lip
19x10" rear +30 with a 4" lip

Are you running 225's or 235's? I also have them in +25 but your rears look like you have a lot more clearance than I do. I'm at -2.5 camber as well. 24.25" ground to fender in the rear.

Here are some pics of mine.

I would say this is ultra conservatively moderately lowered.

And this is really kinda sorta maybe flush

A decade later, and the TL is still fcking gorgeous! I still maintain that it is one of the best looking modified cars, ever. My neck snaps just as bad for a clean TL as it does for an M3 or S2000 etc. Awesome thread, keep em coming!
