Some of you may remember i made a "stance" thread a while back in which i was supposed to keep you guys updated on me fitting my set of work s1's. Since then the wheels have been SOLD as they do not fit into my set of plans. When my car is complete, my setup will be more aggressive, and it just wouldnt be smart to do body work to fit the works, and do more body work to fit the set of wheels that comes after that. For anyone who was wondering, the sizing on the works were 18x10.5+17, 18x11.5+17 (for those who i PMed the specs too, i was wrong) i have a lot of work left to do on my car, and it wont be complete til about next year, but you can expect the amount of work put in to be equal to that or rodney. (of course by the time im done, he'll be on to bigger and better things, inspiring me to push it even further than im currently planning) I dont consider my ride VIP or VIP styled, but im definatly VIP inspired. I did buy the car myself and fully fund my own project, so i could have easily went with a lexus or infiniti, but i decided to go with the TL and do something different. Before anyone makes fun of SUPER weak front fitment () if you'll notice, the wheels are actually flush with the front bumper, but when i rolled my front fenders, they were unintentionally pulled, thus making my wheels sunk. I'll be on air around the end of october so the problem will be fixed. You'll be seeing a lot of me as my plans for my build start becoming a reality, but enough with the chit chat, ON TO THE PICS. Disclaimer: the dude in some of my pics IS NOT ME!!!

so we expecting air by the end of this month still?

haha im so sick of these wheels, or more so the poor front fitment. i just bought a 25mm spacer tho so imma match the camber front and rear and drop it another inch or two to last me til i get my air finally. really wanted to switch up the wheels tho...

so i got the new skunk2 front camber kits....and lemme tell you...it was a HUGE waste of money --;; gave me absolutely no more adjustability than the ingalls.

on a side note, someone had requested pictures of the -7 camber. this is the only shot of the car i have since the camber adjustment. it doesnt really show much, and my friend snapped it on his iphone, but i figured id post it up anyway

rim is tucking when im in the car, but still right against the fender so pulls off as "flush"

You should get an alignment and save those tires. i know some guys down here the run -7 camber and the tires last them about 5 months before they need to flip. Save yourself some money so it can all go to air baggs.

the reason i go through tires so fast isnt because of camber, i know. My toe in the rear is purposely unalligned to like 1.4 or someshit because if i zero it out, my fender chews up my rims. options are to raise the car (nope) pull the fenders and lose the OEM fender turndown (nope) or go through tires like mad. After hellaflush, show season is pretty much done til february around here, so ill be on stocks, slammed down another 2 inches and saving money for bags.

you should ask them to cross align the toe. It should help the car from pulling one side to the other and could help with tire wear.
