nice, i love my short shifter! you were luckier than me though, my gear shifter housing was welded to the frame so i had to do everything inside the car haha.
now you just need a heavy shift knob to complement it!

What, that is crazy! The hardest part for me was removing the bushing off the bottom of the original lever. That must have been even worse doing it in there! Also, it feels heavy with the OEM shifter, how would you compare the factory to a heavy one with the SS?

the heavy shift knob makes the short shifter feel 100x better. i think i got rid of my oem knob in the first year i owned the car (back in 2008 haha). once you start getting into 6mt mods a heavy shift knob is almost a necessity. at a minimum you should get a 400g knob but i think if you're going to get a heavy knob, go for the best...raceseng! the weights are way higher (i have the slammer which is 635g) and their quality is the best i've ever seen...it will literally transform how it feels to drive stickshift.
have you also thought about getting hybrid racing shifter bushings? that will make the shifts crisper and more precise, it removes even more slop from the setup. easy switch out too, you just do it all in the engine bay (i did a short write up in my progress thread)

Another pic pic of the new wheels! They're Ambit RE02 18x9.5 +38 with a 20mm spacer all around (does not clear Brembos) wrapped in 225/40. The back rubs a bit so I will put the collar back into the rear coilovers and then finally install my camber kit this week so it stops rubbing! Taking suggestions for a new color! Thinking bronze or just silver again.

^^ crazy haha!!
just buy the right wheel specs lol!! I kid I kid (I'm just a spacer hater), new setup looks great! I think a brighter color would look great like hyper silver or gunmetal

I had spacers for over a year with no issues, so I just buy specs that will work with a 20mm spacer to clear the brakes because there are so many wheels I like which don't fit without them. I'm painting them soon when I have time.

I've been busy with this car... I raised the front of the car about .25 inch to even the rake out. I also wrapped the front and rear trim in matte silver for the factory look. The pieces are sanded down underneath for the fake chrome look. Sanded that last year and it was the biggest mistake.

Finally got around to installing my camber kit by SPC. So I was under the impression that you can add 2 degrees negative and 4 degrees positive camber but I guess it was the other way around. I was expecting to be at -5 maxed out with he arms but I ended up with like -7-8. I backed it back out to about -4 degrees.
SPC arms maxed out.
Backed out to about -4. Alignment coming next week.

Got it aligned finally and they didnt even need to touch the camber because I had eyeballed it so close that it wouldn't make a difference changing it. It's -5.1 passenger and -5.4 driver. Also got the rear tires flipped. I have quads sitting in my room waiting to get welded on, oem type s taillights being installed this week and then going to paint my wheels!

Looking good man! What color wheels? Also if you're getting new or like new headlights put on, have a shop put on a clear wrap so they don't haze or get damaged (usually about 80-100 bucks with a 5-7 year warranty)

Yes they are the Type-S smoked Depo. You can get them off eBay or Unique Style Racing.
