No mods for me, I bought the car so I can enjoy the smoothness. My Type S suspension some time giving back ache but the trade off is its ability to corner, when I drive the Base TL i feel like 60 when I drive the Type S its feel like I am 16. Ahh get the RL and its all good for DD.

3 owners car and the last owner service at Acura dealer every 2k miles at my local Acura dealer (yes you heard it right, EVERY 2k miles) 105k already been done, valve adjustment already done as of Sep 2016. Well its a funny story i ask my service adviser at Acura dealer to check the record on the car and when he done type up the VIN he start laughing, first he said "i know the owner" then he finally spit it out "its used to belong to a senior sale reps". I had a nice long conversation with the former owner, Its turn out nothing wrong with the car its just the guy got a good deal on a 2017 Hybrid RLX so he trade it in. Once he saw I park up front he was like "I want to buy it off you" lol. He said he still mad because the RLX isn't the same level as the RL (with very embarrassing face) in term of handling and luxury and he regret about the trade in the old RL, couple things interest info I was able to get from him. They took the trade in at $6800 then the car bounce in the auction house and someone bought it from auction listed for $9500 then no body contact him for 2 months. He droped to $7800 which he later reveal with paper works he got the car from the auction for $7500. I end up paid $7550 and score big time since I pretend the TB/WP never been done and the seller told me I am the only contact he got since listing. Almost no one here in Houston know the existence of the 2nd gen RL therefore the selling market is really slow, if anyone interest in it they will know all inside out.



For those of you guy wondering.... Yes I still have my 07 Base Navi and my Type S.

Looks nice, Love the body shape of the RL and how its a fat car. Car looks really clean looks like you luck out. That sure is a very good DD.

Yeah the IS is someone what getting crowded for me, I need some thing more civilize. Crabman you saw my IS300 in person too lol.

Looks like you got a well maintained RL at a great price. Congrats, I love mine! You should look into upgrading to the Aspec steering wheel.

Trust me I already looking at it and no there is no way I gonna pay almost $600 for the Aspec, I will get one swap over from the 2009-2012 steering wheel. BTW does anyone out there still have the rear view camera mounting kit available. I guess I will hit up the 2nd gen RL forum later on.
