if you want to really know send me a pm
I feel ridiculously into exhaust acoustics and wasted too much cash to get to where it is now to post up set up too quickly if you know what I mean ;] If I knew what I had to do in the first place I should have not just doubted and done it. The amount of time and money I could have saved so much if I had just done this properly to begin with but of course I cannot foresee future results and/or spend all my cash in one sitting to find out the best shit. but thus experimenting is a lot of money down the drain until the end result or lack of. Fortunately, end results can be rewarding and I found it like that so far. When I can settle on a finished set up for a while before changing it, I'll be satisfied.
Take for example, you have a universal canister style resonator(s) where you place it along your piping and at which point in the bend or lack of bends as you will, can affect the noise it can emit to a various degree. Although this is my speculation, I don't claim to be any sort of exhaust expert but I do like to theory craft from my own experience and my way of putting things together in my mind.
Hopefully I didn't sound like an ass or selfish
Thanks you and one time

^^^honestly, what I think makes this site awesome is that when most of us DO have the pain of struggling through fixing something or the cost to make something perfect...it's that we share that with each other. Most of the time, if I do something, I like to share it so others have an easier path.
I'm not saying it's wrong to want to "keep it for yourself", but in my opinion...I don't like to go that route.

anyway, when i got the true duals, i did a ton of research and thought i knew it all...then contacted multiple shops and went with the shop which does quality work....even thow it ended up being very very expensive, it was worth it coz i was the only one with the setup....
but it didnt sound nearly as sexy as i wanted it to....then it was back to the shop with a different muffler, finally i love my exhaust note and the power it has given me....it does have some rasp and drone but its a fair trade off in my opinion
but i would love to know more details on your exhaust....will shoot you a PM
