oh yeh....i used some local brands brake cleaner fluid deal and u just spray it on and it dries instantly...

yeh i seen those packages but i never got it before....

what i think is that if u dont feel like covering it up with newspaper and stuff...get that package..cause the brush would be easier for the like that caliper opening that you see in my pic...that shiny piece? like in this pic



it would probably be easier and less messy??

if u get the spray can like i did you would like need to cut a little piece to cover that opening up and use like tweezers or pliers to get that piece out after everything dries....

so i can just go to like Strauss Discount Auto...Pepboys...or Auto Zone and ask them for a brake/caliper cleaner and spray that on...then after i scrub that off? or do i leave it on...and then i just tape the surrounding areas....and spray everything on...let it dry...then spray again?

how many coats did u have to do?

yeh any of those stores should have that brake cleaner...its like 2 bucks...just spray that on and watch the black brake dust come off...dont need to scrub unless its stubborn........then just tape around it and spray it!....

i used prolly at least 4-5 coats???? u should get at least 2 cans!...some people even said to use clear coat afterwards but i didnt

so even if i change them out....what da heck am i gonna do with my screens? reinstall them into the recaros? ahha

as for the screens on the recaro's, I would kick your butt if you did that! Dont even think about it. I say go for the gold and get a Supercharger! No wait.. dont, because then you will be too way ahead of me.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! For anyone looking to mod a 3rd gen, take notes. It all begins and ends with the cleared headlights, it makes a ton of difference. And the chrome HREs help too.

Well, you can do recaros, but not the TV in the recaros. But if you really want too.. go for it. I seen someone paint the engine covers here. It wasnt so bad. Maybe a white?

actually, they are made from 2 different factories. That was a rumor started as people didnt know. It has been confirmed by someone on the BMW forums. I-forged still sells to high end cars so dont worry about what others say. Looks like you had great luck with yours.

i went with the luminics light bulbs but man they suck!! not yellow enough



my friend just got some luminics as well and his are super duper yellow

but he just went back to HK so i will need to ask him which model he got

but.......he also got pulled over for them too....haha

i dont know if its that...just if you change it later u can't put back the oem.....i really like the ALL MESH with maybe "A" in the middle or something...too bad it was like civics where the whole thing is one piece.....that was easy.......plus the gap here is huge!!!

i used this rain gutter wire mesh and its just wide enough but not tall enough......maybe get one of those FORD mesh grillls.......those should be big enough.!! ahhah
