Very nice. I LOVE those wheels and tried to get the previous owner to sell them to me when he posted them, but didn't want to ship and I think you had already contacted him.

Probably the best looking wheels I've seen on a TL. I'd love to sell my Trinitys and get a set...

mad, beautiful setup! You've done your homework. Now I will have competition in Houston soon.

Just curious.. who installed your Tein SS setup? Do you feel the Tein SS was worth it?

haha.....thanks...where in houston are you??

im pretty much done with it...need to save up and im getting old...

the TL is already a nice car...dont think i can make it any nicer...

im still debating about a screen since i didnt get the navi...BIG REGRET!!!!!!
soooo...maybe later on if i find a navi screen or another double din screen that will fit right in there...

so far...ive seen like only like 2-3 the most including mine in houston thats sorta fixed up

my friend and i who i bought the rims from helped me install it...

yeh i think it matches really well with the comptech rsb...at first people were saying its good...but to me i didnt really feel anything until i put in the tein ss...

hope that helps

mad, looks like we got you beat on the navi. we have the dark interior and we love it. I also agree that the car is already nice. All it needs is some nice wheels and a clean drop, besides the bodykit. I used to be in the car scene a long time ago, but things have changed since then. I have never heard of Tein until now and thats why I was asking. Eibach was out back then and was top of the line. Are you able to adjust your drop from the inside of your car at any given time? Good luck and if you see a car similiar to yours catching up in your rear view mirror.. it may just be me! Thats after I find the right wheels for our car.

we live in the Cypress area (290/Hwy6), how about you?

awesome...u got the 06 model huh?

yeh tein actually has been out for awhile if i remember but always expensive...

actually i have to remove everything to adjust the ride stiffness/softness..meaning...the rear back seat has to come out and the front strut bar along with the black coverings all have to come off to adjust it...kinda sucks

there was this device...forgot the name but i think it was like a remote feature that you could add but i wasnt sure if it would work with ours...i think its called edfc? maybe wrong...

i live in bellaire!...

How hard was it to clear out your head lights?

Only thing I'm scared is removing the bumper, I have did galants and couple bimmers in the past to remove the orange

Will for sure post pics once I drop and custom system

mad, sorry.. no 06 for us. We couldnt wait that long. But still.. we are in the hundreds of miles and not thousands yet.

Once i find the rims, im going to look for the perfect springs. Im debating on both Eibach and Tein.

Let me know if you have any other advice especially since you are in Houston and know the scene better than i do right now. : )

actually...im not really into the scene...i just love cars and love my TL!!!

i would go with coilover suspension.....because if u go with eibach...and later on it settles down some more and you think its too low...u cant do anything about it...but on the other hand if u have a coilover suspension and it settles...no problem...just raise it back up a bit!!!

plus u can adjust the ride quality of the teins as well...

hope that points u in the right direction....

good luck!!

sup dooky! thanks..

i think it is worth clearing it....makes ALOT of difference to me...and i love the clear look!!!....i just dont know why it keeps fogging up....i used the same type of sealant i used before on my civic and it never fogged up and i used more on the tl but it still does it...no idea....i think the one i used had too many bubbles when it sealed so when the bubbles popped...air got in and so did the moisture...maybe next time i wash the car ill just mist it over the headlights...
