Talking New Guy In AZ

Hey guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chris. Just bought my first TL. 2006 TL Base A/T with 60k. I am the second owner and I love it so far. Always loved these cars. I got her in awesome shape from a local dealer. Got a 2 year extended warranty in case of any tranny problems. Any other common problems I should know about? Or any recalls that might not have been done to her? I plan to do a CAI and rims/tires with a susp. drop in the future. Not sure what else I wanna do yet. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks guys! So I have a few questions. Can I add factory navi to it? And whats the best way to add subs and an amp to the factory system? I take it its difficult to replace with an aftermarket deck to it since the ac controls are integrated.

In my opinion, factory navi is way outdated at this point. I would do the nexus 7 tablet mod instead. There is a dash kit now by krankitup for an aftermarket head unit but it still leaves the half-moons in place.

Welcome and congrats Chris!

Skip the CAI and put that money towards a j-pipe. I would consider adding the A-Spec lip kit too. Be sure to search and read everything in the 3G Garage; there's a wealth of knowledge there!
