Need wheel advice: WTB RonJon Legend...
I currently have an '04 TL A-spec with the OEM 8.5" rims...
I want to keep the same offset and I want to retain my brand new 245/40ZR-18 KUMHO ECSTA ASX tires...
Which RonJon Legend 18" wheels should I purchase (several to choose from in terms of offset, etc)
Thanks (I want to keep the same offset as I have now with the OEM setup)

Just get the 18x8 or 8.5, you'll be good with either. Offset doesn't really matter, but the RJ's will probably be more aggressive than the stock setup but it won't effect fitment. Stock offset is 45, so get whatever is closest to that if you want to retain the stock look.

Yeah there may be a lot of Ron Jons "in here" but there are hardley any on the road. I travel a lot and have only seen one other car with them. Great looking rims op. A great choice for your ride!

We sell direct, not wholesale. So we sell very few sets compared with those huge universal wheel companies. And our wheels are perfectly offset, hubcentric, and BBK compliant. I see more A-spec wheels than anything, but thats not a good thing or a bad thing, thats just a reflection of people knowing what they want, rather than getting something based on other's opinions.
32mm offset will put the 8.0" wide wheel right in line with the fender:

Although 235/40/18 (suggested) will give you a more aggressive shaped sidewall.

8" RJ with a 32mm offset will put the wheel just about where an 8.5" +45 mm will...atleast from the math in my head. The Legend GT +32 is pure hotness, so thats what'd I'd go with. For not such an aggressive look, go for the liquid graphite finish +32.
I also have a SSM if its worth anything about my opinion.

Are the RJ wheels forged? one piece?
My Aspec wheels held up to the rough roads/potholes of Chicago pretty darn well.. only now, after 90,000 miles are they to the point where i can't balance out the imperfections...
How will the ronjon's hold up in comparison?
thanks for all the info

Both are 1 piece cast aluminum. With a 245/40 tire you still have reasonable side wall...and I use "reasonable" compared to 19's or 20's. So they should be equally strong, but don't go hitting pot holes to make sure.
