I personally think Silver/grey, Yellow, or Magma-Neon Orange would look sick.

Between orange and white I would go orange all the way. White may start looking dirty and grimy especially if brake dust gets on it and kinda attaches to it. I think orange would hide that a little better. Regardless make sure to show us what you do.

I think gold calipers with the dark blue paint would look pretty cool.

With gold badges! That would look sick!!

OP it appears to me that most people here are leaning towards the red-orange-yellow side of the spectrum.

Thank you everyone that has voiced their opinion. I really appreciate it. With that said, I believe I'm gonna go with a orange powdercoat. I will def post up pictures after I get them back and when I put them on the TL.

hey man

haven't seen you on here in a minute lol.

you and the girl still got the TLs??

As far as the calipers go, I'm in similar boat as you. I bought a set of RL calipers and i think I'm set on coating them white and matching the lettering same blue as the car. I think it would look dope.

I thought about orangey/burnt copper kind of thing, it would look great but I feel you'd almost have to go back to stock headlights with the amber for it to look good or at the very least type-s headlights.

Curious to see what you do and how it ends up looking. Be sure to update

:edit: I can't really tell but it looks like you still have the amber in your headlights lol

Orange seems like such a clash with dark blue paint.

hey bro!!! What's going on? I'm still on here but I haven't been on as much because my wife is about to have the baby any day now and I've been busy working on the baby's room and stuff. But yes, we both still have the tls. They are not going anywhere, lol.
The calipers color has been suchaving a tough decision for me. As you know, my wife has the AM color and I got her brembo calipers powder coated white with pink Acura decal a while back. She loves it. But for me, I was just stuck on either white or orange. I do have modded headlights that were made to look like the type s lights so the amber is there. I'm actually getting 2 sets of oem type s headlights to switch out to on both tls.
So I think the orange should be good to go. I'm just not sure what color the decals should be, black or white? But I still have some time to think about it.
How is your tl doing?

I actually did think about pink. It goes well with a blue car. But I think the pink would look better on the type s blue. But I do appreciate your opinion.

I've been thinking about doing White on my KBP but I'm just worried that it would get dirty too quickly. Dark orange on blue does seem reasonable especially with the orange in the headlights.

op why are you buying two sets of OEM type-s headlights if you have a modded pair to resemble type-s headlights? just curious....maybe interested in your modified set if you putting it up

I have always loved the type s headlights. The main reason why I'm switching is because I want the dual circles in the headlights.

literally, ALL of the colors of the rainbow can be great as caliper colors!
and many many people change colors often.

lol powdercoat = longevity.

Black with white lettering is clean but if your spending the money to powder them the right way then gotta go with something other than black

Powder coat also = potentially weakening the caliper itself.

But yes the color will last

powdercoating seems nice, but i prefer spray can because less cost and more flexibility to change colors. my last paint job was QTY 2 of $3 spray paint cans haha, so cheap and if i get bored i can change them up again!

Yeah once I get them done, I'm not changing the color. I'm not the type of person that gets bored and switches up every so often.

I have burnt copper on my WDP. Not sure how I feel about it on ABP.
Personally, I'd go with Teal and a white decal.

I think burnt orange CAN look good on the blue.
it still is a personal decision and if cant decide, then I wouldn't do something so permanent. ...but obviously that's my personal opinion.
