So these shots are from my friend TL. He just got some new rims and painted the outer edge blue. I told them they do not look nice, just wanted some suggestion on what he should do with them to make them look better.

Yeah, with the super thick color band, it makes the rim face look like their 15's. I would powdercoat the whole rim to disguise the small-ness(?) of the rim.

First, do what you gotta do to get the stock ones back on possibly just powder coat the stock ones because I've seen a few members have them and they look sexy!

Then put those "new and improved rims" on the side of the road, but at a visible distance and watch who will "pick them up and take em" because i bet they'll think they got away with the best set of rims EVER!! and then you can laugh (:

if u cant afford or find a decent set of wheels don't get them wait til the time is right you will be much happier and you wont end up looking like a hot wheels car with hot wheels wheels
stock wheels on our cars are beautiful the way they are, especially with a drop, tell your boy to sell the tires, because i dunno who would buy those wheels, and invest in something to go low

AZN, I'm glad this isn't your TL. Especially in the first picture, it looks like he painted the wheels manually with a paint brush. How does HE feel about the wheels? I'm interested to know.
